[ Champion Concept ] Avon the Transcendent : NEW ABILITIES ARE DONE

Kosomic·10/10/2014, 3:14:36 PM·1 votes·1,484 views

REMINDER : THE LORE IS HERE.

Gave up on waiting for Riot to extend the cap limit so for now Part 1 is on here.

All right I had this champ idea for a while now and before I explain him I would like to start from where the idea came from. Being a tanky jungler, I've always like to be the one to engage a team fight either dominating with large AoE or using raw force to get to priority targets. It was good but I have always been drawn to the mid lane mages. They, however did not really fit my play style relying on their ability to burst people down and praying that they don't get hit by ANYTHING or they practically die instantly. Then I tried Diana who I absolutely love to play as you can be tanky with out sacrificing damage due to her passive (Nashor's Tooth OP) her unfortunate downfall is her lack of disengage that people tried to compensate for with Zhonyas and Flash. I still enjoy playing as her but the disengage requires your team to back you up or else your pretty much dead. (we have all been with teams too scared to get into a fight thus you can not rely on your team for a safe exit all the time.) Due to this you need to be the one to make the big plays and live to tell the tale.

ROLE : Fighter, Mage, Tank

So shall we begin?

LORE BASIC STATS ARTWORK ABILITIES CONCLUSION

LORE : PART 1 http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/bpO0Xmxh-avon-the-transcendent-lore-part-1

OLD LORE http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4905299

BASIC STATS

Health : 2075 at 18 HP5 : 18.5 at 18 Mana : 1160 at 18 MP5 : 20.5 at 18 Armor : 91 at 18 Magic Resist : 52.5 at 18 Attack Damage : 107 at 18 **Attack Range : 175 ** Crit Chance : 0 at 18 Movement : 345 at 18

I feel as though these are good for him. Remember you can play him off tank, AP nuke (if you really want) but in general these stats give him durability. A high natural armor will be great if you want to jungle or to survive ganks. A good amount of health, mana, and regen clearly state that he is in for the long run. Now he is a melee champ with his autos but it has good range similar to how Aatrox, Diana, etc; have increased range from the normal 125 to 150 to make sense as they wield longer weapons than most. Avon is using a halberd which is also a long weapon so it make sense it should have a long reach. (Write a comment if you feel this is too much and I will bring it back down to 150) Lastly having 345 movement speed is just a treat. We all no being slow is right next door to being dead thus it is welcome.

As you can guess its not ready yet and really difficult to do (I am NO great artist K?)

                     [**SKILLS**]

This is the new kit, I hope you find it unique.

[DRAGON KNIGHT]

Every 5 seconds, Kosomic aids Avon in battle by engulfing in flames dealing 100/200/350 + (0.6)AP in a cone to all enemies in front of him. Basic attacks reduce the cool down by 1 second. This ability counts as a spell and will apply any spell-hit affects

[Q : Sprite Bolt]

Mana cost : 70/80/90/100/110

Cool Down : 9/8/7/6/5

Avon releases a bolt of energy in front of him, dealing less damage each enemy it passes through. It deals 70/105/140/175/210 + (0.6) AP - 25% damage for each unit after the first. If the bolt strikes an ally or Kosomic while Avon is dismounted, they become energized, granting 10/20/30/40/50% attack speed for 5 seconds.

[W : TWIN HEARTS]

Mana Cost : 60/65/70/75/80

Cool Down : 20/18/16/14/12

Avon dismounts from Kosomic for 7 seconds, during this time, Avon can direct Kosomic but hitting W again to reposition him to another location. Kosomic can also be ordered to attack enemies doing 90/120/150 +(0.5) bonus AD and every third strike does he breaths fire dealing damage equal to his passive. Kosomic is untargetable however Avon is unable to use his ultimate for the duration as Kosomic isn't with him, instead Avon's ultimate is replaced with Call of Allies, causing Kosomic to immediately fly back, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 +(0.7) AP in magic damage to anyone in the way and knocking them aside a short distance. When they reunite, Avon gains bonus movement speed for 5 seconds 20/30/40/50/60 + 10 per 100 AP. While Avon is dismounted, his passive is disabled but can still use all his abilities.

[E : ASCEND / SKYDIVE]

Mana Cost : 50/60/70/80/90

Cool Down : 16/14/12/10/8

Ascend : Avon commands Kosomic to take flight rising above the battle field for 2 seconds, during this time he is completely immune to damage from abilities and basic attacks of melee champions. Ranged champions can still auto attack him during this time but the damage is reduced by 50%. After 2 seconds of rising Kosomic remains in position for 1.5 seconds and is able to cast SKYDIVE for the time or is automatically cast after the 1.5 seconds.

Skydive Avon and Kosomic dive at the target location dealing 120/160/200/240/280 +(0.5) AD in physical damage and knocks all enemies up for 1.5 seconds. A crater is left at the location doing 30/40/50/60/70 +(0.6) AP per second in magic damage while enemies stand in it and are slowed by 30% as well. While Kosomic is not with Avon, Avon dashes to the target location instead, doing 50/70/90/110/130 +(0.4) AP in magic damage and stunning targets hit for 1.5/1.75/2 seconds.

[R : ANCESTORS AWAKENED / CALL OF ALLIES]

Mana Cost : 150/175/200

Cool Down : 120/100/80

Ancestor Awakened : Avon tells Kosomic to tap into the power of his ancestors before him gaining 20/40/60 bonus movement speed and 25/50/75 bonus armor and magic resist for 8 seconds. Kosomic's passive fire breath deals 100/150/200 +(0.3) AP in true damage instead for the duration and the ultimate can be reactivated three times which causes Kosomic to dash to an enemy dealing no damage but stunning the target for 1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds and applying a mark of Ancestors Wrath. If Kosomics fire breath hits a target marked with Ancestors wrath, it triggers dealing 125/250/375 +(0.2) AP magic damage to the target afflicted by the mark over 5 seconds. There is a 2 second cool down between the dashes, the same target can not be stunned or given another mark if targeted again, resulting in no damage but slows for 25% instead.

Call of Allies: Kosomic charges back to Avon, refer to Twin hearts for full details.

Well that's it hope you enjoyed and let me know in the comments what you think,

Thanks,

Your passive is WAY out of line. A free repeatable 100 magic damage in an AoE every third attack (I believe...it could be every third ability) is obscene early on. The 5 damage per second per level is also FAR to strong: at level 18 that's the equivalent of 2 Sunfires. For contrast, Alistar's passive is 6 + level + 10% AP damage per second, triggered on abilities.

Basically, Avon will be the single fastest early jungler in the game as currently designed.

There's another serious issue in the sheer amount of CC on this kit (a three use stun ultimate is just the start), and the incredible complexity of each ability (except the Q) that causes them to be difficult to understand,

I suspect that your W and E are also overloaded, but the complexity makes it hard to be really sure. I KNOW your ultimate is incredibly overloaded.

I agree the passive seems VERY VERY overpowered. Also I'm curious why you have the "dismount" command separate from the "mount" command. It would be much more intuitive for players to have them tied to the same spell. I feel like there's a lot of complexity to this kit that could be scrapped and streamlined to the champion's game pattern more cohesive. Looks like your playing with a mounted unit here with some sort of Orianna flavoring going on, which has a lot of potential! I really believe you should define playstyles for each of these characters. Is this dragon supporting his master while not mounted or is he like Tibbers barreling through the battlefield? Its a lot to chew on, I actually recommend taking either the Sejuani or Quinn approach when it comes to companions/pets. Either have the companion inherent to the champs playstyle or have him show up in skills as an independent agent.
