There should be a Yasuo skin where he's in full Ionian armor, without the hair showing. (Sorry to everyone who loves his long, flowing blaze) It could be any color at all. BUT seeing as how Irelia is wearing red in her default as a general it should probably be red as well.

Also just because Irelias red doesnt mean the color of Ionia IS red. Please read the lore before making a list that likes pimp my ride.

Shen isnt red, neither is akali, kennan (deadly kennan isnt an ionia skin, just a fun skin), karma, syndra, udyr, or yasou.
Wukong, Irelia, Zed (his cape), and lee sin have read.
Also Ionia has diffrent provinces so maybe red is the color is a seprate province, just like each state has a diffrent state flag, bird, flower, etc.

Yasou was never in the military, he went to a sword school to train in the arts. He was just a samurai who was tasked with protecting an elder, then the elder died and he was placed under arrest.

Who became sentiant and wanted to train in the arts of wuju, so he set of in search of master Yi, who taught him in the art. Wukong became Yi's apprentice and became well trained in the art. So he is no longer JUST a monkey.....hes a monkey who knows KA-RA-TAY

They may not have stripped him of his armor, but he sure as hell wouldn't keep wearing it on his own to stand out.

They based him off Musashi which was less armor and that he was a wandering samurai who didn't have any ties to a faction or group. also the armor you are thinking of was used by footman or horsemen in battle. Yasou was not in the mitlitary, but went to a school, much likes Shens fathers, which was to hone a craft.
What you want is a skin that isnt based of Yasous lore, but which is based of amour worn by soilders in battle and is the "typical" armor people think off.
