Torien: The spirit archer

Torien is an adc-assassin hybrid. If a support can be an assassin than an adc can too! (note: He has 550 base attack range, this will play into his kit)

passive: Calculated aim Upon entering brush Torien's next basic attack will have 150 increased range Will deal 110% damage. For every champion killed or every 5 minions killed by this empowered shot the range increase will increase by 25 cooldown: 2.5 seconds. Note:This bonus will only last for 1 second upon leaving brush or upon leaving Spirit Cloaking.

Q:Imbued Arrowfall: Torien fires upon a target location, after a delay of 0.75 seconds the arrows rain down on the location dealing 100/130/160/190/220+(75% ability power) magic damage. If this kills an enemy 50% of the cooldown is refunded. If this enemy is a champion the entire cooldown is refunded. range: 1100 cooldown: 11/10/9/8/6.5

W:Spirit watcher: Summons a spirit watcher at a target location. Spirit watchers are invisible and will reveal all terrain within 600 units. Spirit watchers will last two minutes. Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/15 cast range: 700

E: Spirit cloaking Torien gains invisibility for 1/1/1.25/1.25/1.5 seconds. While invisible gain 50% movement speed, this is increased to 150% when moving towards brush. cooldown: 15/14/13/12/10

R: Energy Windup: Empower's Torien's next passive or Q Empowered passive: Gains 15% more range and pierces 20/30/40% of enemy armor Imbued Arrowfall: Gains 150 bonus range and scales with 85/90/95% of ability power instead of 80. cooldown: 60/50/40

Probable Playstyle: It is sorta like Kindred where you are very weak early game but can be really powerful in the late game, the 2 build paths also have similar but slightly different playstyles.

Ap: You want to pick of targets if possible but don't exclusively use q for this as it has a low cooldown in the late game.

AD/assassin: You also want to pick off targets but in a different way. You want to position yourself in creative spots late game because if you have been farming well you should have significantly increased attack range.

That's all I need to say. Please leave comments and questions as well as answering the pole!

Pretty conflicting concept imo. You typically end up with at least 200 farm by end game. Assuming HALF was done via passive, that gives you +500 extra range. And like 4 champ kills at least for +100. This gives you 550+750+150(Rapidfire) for 1,450 range on passive. That. Is. Not. Okay. And that's not even including R... 5 minions = at least 25 range every minion wave for decent players. Good players would get 1,000 bonus range off just minions after 20 minutes. If you change it to JUST champion kills then that'd be fine. 700 base attack range is already really good. And if you secure 10 kills then that's 950 attack range, probably procing Duskblade.

I would completely rework his R, and make Passive scale off champion kills but not minion kills.

Also there isn't a lot of incentive to go AP. 1 ability scales, and passive makes you want to go AD to secure kills with it to get increased range. Maybe if securing kills with Q built you more AP focused. That would let you choose which path to go via gameplay.

If spirit watchers did something else as well and had a way to get destroyed then that'd help a lot.

Definitely has potential.
