Riot continues to ignore the Dauntless Ahri issue, hoping it will just go away.

They already know that their "but everybody who isn't on the boards and reddit loves it" excuse just makes people angry (because treating your fanbase like idiots is a quick way to endear yourself to a community), so dead silence is the next best thing.

If Dauntless absolutely cannot be used (for reasons that we are left to guess at, due to the aforementioned silence), at least change it to something that isn't stupid.

Challenger Ahri is an awful, awful, awful name. Which is too bad, since it's a super nice skin.

Player focused company, everyone. Can't even comment on awful decisions that everybody hates regarding something as simple as a skin name. ~Uiru

Who cares what the name of the fucking skin is? It's a nice skin for a fun champion.

I say they rename challenger tier to some other name. Less complaints regarding ahri easier fix less backlash overall.

I believe that the reason that people don't care as much about the name of the skin is because it has no real connection to anything besides the start of the season, as opposed to Finales Funkeln back in 2012, as the initial name change removed a big part of Lux's identity.

"everybody hates". I don't. I give absolutely no craps, and consider Dauntless as good a name as Challenger (though Challenger actually makes more sense for beginning of the ranked season skins).
