Um... First experience all 10 of us had picked and we were waiting out the match start timer. Second experience we were banning champions and it said this.
I am almost unable to play ranked because all of my queue end like this. Really frustrating.
Got that in ARAM of all places, couldn't stop laughing at the irony.
Happened about 3 times in a row and then hasn't happened since, so I suggest re-logging, but that's about all I got sry.
I think they have just picked wrong sentence for the message. It should say that someone has left the game lobby.
From my experience this far, this is the standard message that comes up from a game being disbanded either from a leaver or from failure to choose a champ
Not sure why (I was just as confused as you when it first happened to me) but it seems to be the standard notification now
