I just opened an honor capsule and got a Yi shard, a Ryze shard and 3 key fragments. I then used that key to open a chest and got a Volibear shard. So for an honor capsule and a chest I got 1140 BE. I don't know about the rest of you but I feel like I just got the middle finger from Riot.

Actually, this was probably intended from the start knowing the BE system they were gonna put into place.
It's free BE for not being a dick. Possibly skin or even ward/emote shards. How is this remotely unsatisfying?

Wow riot really cares about its honorable players. This pathetic reward is what you get for all those times where you might have wanted to tell someone the truth about the plays they've made, but didn't because you wanted to be Honorable. Meanwhile the dude who carries is frequently the guy who is honored the most, whether or not he says a single word during the match or not.

They feel worse because they actually disenchant for less value.
I think that honor capsules are possibly the only redeeming factor in this system and they should come more often....WAAAAY more often considering how much BE system sucks overall.

Yea, nothing really excites me now. When I get an Honor Capsule, it's always champion shards (I own all the champions btw) and the BE system doesn't do anything for me. I'm just sitting on BE ... and while this is all 'free' stuff which is nice, it doesn't make me feel like my time spent was worth it. I do enjoy my games, I just wish the system would be better and feel more rewarding overall.
I gotten Kennen, who I find to be a lack luster champion. I just hate the fact that I gotta pay 2500 BE to even get the champion
At you get honor capsules, I have only gotten 1( note I am honor lvl 5). It had some 450 up champions too. Feels bad man.

Ikr, It suck to open a chest and find even more champion shards. At the very least they should only drop skins. It's just gonna be a lot harder to get skins now. I'm at 12,000 BE because I keep getting champion shards from everything.
I wouldn't mind if they contain champion shards if they are guaranteed to be for champions you do not own. Aside from that - yes, they feel pretty underwhelming considering how rare we get them. I've had 3 since I got lvl 3 honor and it was pretty fast after they launched the system (lvl 4 now btw, if that is relevant)

Champ shards are rampant in levelling up. Feels like SHIT to get champ shards in lootboxes.
Like I get that skins should be hard to get but you still need to get essence (from skinshards) to unlock the damn skin shards. Many of the time skins shards are hard to get mainly because of how common it is to get champ shards instead.
I just got a Master Yi and Nunu with two fragments with from an honor capsule.
I have three semi active accounts plus I haven't even heard of anyone getting a high cost champ from honor capsules. So I am pretty sure they are biased to the low end champs which makes them extra poor right now. It's baffling they would do that because it's just so obvious.
It makes sense the lower cost champs are common in level up capsules as they're useful "change" to round out the value of a level up. So it makes even less sense for the infrequent honor reward to be filled with them.
Either that or my not even a lot playtime is spread too thin to get the good reward, it might be that but doubtful since there's no mention of that mechanic.
I'm level 33 and so far I got Azir, Ivern, Vladamir, and a champion that I already had.

I was stoked to get a Vel'koz shard from an honour capsule though... have people ever gotten skin shards from an honour capsule? I never did (at honour 5)... always key fragments.
Yes totally true. At least drop 7-8 key fragments than giving us champion shards, which we could only use to upgrade to level 6 and 7 anyways, or disenchant to BE.
The best part is that we're likly going to have to wait 2 years for any kind of changes and Rioters will expect to be patted on the back for their quick response to the issue.

I think dropping skin shards would be fine, considering Riot nerfed OE disenchanting.
perhaps it could be like those orbs from events it gives a random something guarenteed and then a chance to obtain something else.
I'd be happy with a bit of OE or something, one very unpopular low OE skin etc

yea I played since season 2 own all the champs, had nothing to spend ip on before since I had a shit load of runes and pages... riot says they are fixing the problem but wait... I still have nothing at all to spend BE on although now I cant even reroll 3 champ shards that I own for the new release champs to save some extra essence. how was anything even attempted at being fixed? wtf can I use this BE or these champ shards for ????? at least the riot staff from when I started playing didn't flat out make shit up and lie to the players.
My biggest issue with the new honor capsules is that it is focusing more on BE rather than on what it used to. The old system gave players the opportunity to gain skin shards and, over long periods of time, either re-roll them for a random free skin or save up the orange essence to create the skin they want from whatever skin shard they got. This was a good system since long-term players would increase their skin pool even by just a little, also giving more incentive to play the game. The changes, however, feel like they just screw the player over since we can no longer re-roll champion shards to get a new champion. Even if it is free BE, which is good, the older system felt fair and balanced to a certain extent. All I feel like is that I'm earning more BE per match rather than the "Wow" factor from getting a random new skin or a random champ I may play.[sg-janna]
