Did you know you can check your Dominion ELO?

Hey there! My summoner is Fancy Wolf and I am a top tier Dominion player (let the laughing commence).

Im here to tell you guys about how to check your Dominion Elo/MMR, since our old method of using Jabebot was killed by that damn purple yordle. I will also be here to shed some light on higher Elo play in dominion and why its so exhilarating.

First off for those interested, your Dominion MMR checker as seen here http://i.imgur.com/F9KV5k6.png Will show you your teams current MMR average/The games average. Now this number will fluctuate alot and it is important to test this as a solo queue(er?). You will have to take the average across multiple games to find whereabouts your true MMR. For example across 50 games my MMR is around 2k, since most of my games average at 2k-2.1k MMR.

Here are the steps to checking your Dominion MMR!

• Go to http://quickfind.kassad.in/
• Type in your summoner name while you are loading into a solo Queue game (on dominion of course)
• It will show you the games average MMR and tell you if you are in High Elo land or "its just Dominion" land.

And thats all there is to it, now if you want to learn more about dominion/ want to get better at it, I will be posting some guides from the dominion community for you to browse through as well as explain some cool things you may or may have not known about dominion.

So for those of you interested in actually learning about Dominion, first you should join the Chatroom in the League of Legends client named "DominateDominion". This is where all the top Dominion players/lovers hang out and chat about strats, builds, ideas, or advice. EDIT: this is on the NA server.. sadly the EUW scene for dominion kinda died out :/

Now for some Fun Dominion Facts!!! Did you know:

• That over 80% of the champion roster is viable in Dominion, and Aatrox, Gangplank, and Thresh are the 3 worst champions on the map.

• Teams that all take revive win 95% more over teams that dont

• SUPPORTS GET GOLD AND CAN BUILD ITEMS!!!!

• There is no laning phase unless your botlane, because the map gives you enough gold and gold gain to get right into the action with nonstop skirmishes and dueling. So there is also no need to farm creeps 24/7

• It is a big misconception that Revive=Rewards you for dying, when in fact Revive prevents the game from snowballing. If you dont take revive you will end up getting 5 capped more and could cost your team the game.

• Penetration and CDR are the two most important stats to build on Dominion.

• Did I mention supports get gold and can build items?

• Hextech sweeper and Grez's spectral lantern is rarley used in lower elo, but bought by almost every player in high elo.

• Dominion's Highest Elo Player is Sauron with a record high Elo of 2800+ and his Q times would be over 2+ hours long.

• A Diamond/Challenger SR team has yet to beat a top Dominion team.

• Dominions bracket range for borders(if we had any) would be alot smaller than SR. Currently the estimated top 50 players range from 2200-2800 MMR.

• Dominions best team "Clueless" Won the Curse/LoLpro tournament, then did an exhibition match vs Crs Academy and completely stomped them.

• "Pays Evelynn's Child Support"(PECS) Holds the record for holding 1st place the longest with 17 weeks of victories. They were de-throned by Cheese Enematic with a back-cap Shaco strat.

• Every Type of champion is viable on Dominion. Mages, Bruisers, Supports, Assasins, and ADC's.

• AD carrys are actually the most difficult to play on Dominion but a few top level players have made them feared. Bebepop's Vayne, or TAEU's Ezreal.

• With the recent Alternate Map balance that Riot has implemented, Many of the once broken and overpowered champions have been brought into line. Now most champions are manageable if you have the knowledge of how to beat them.

• Draft Dominion died when riot bugged a patch to not give a dodge penalty, when they finally fixed it everyone had left Draft.

• Resident best support in Dominion "Mad Suppordle" AKA "Zimike" is undefeated with Lulu in competitive play.

• Before alternate map balance Kassadin was banned 100% of the time in high level games. With his most recent nerf he has slipped through twice and lost both games.

• The mastery Safeguard Reduces tower damage by 10% on Dominion instead of 5% on SR.

• To make up for the lack of draft, DD players will host inhouses and play the game like its a tournament match, but less intense and more for fun.

• In low Elo games it is very common for players to push the lane to the tower in attempts to take it (SR mentality). Yet in Higher Elo or top level tourney games, most of the combat happens in the jungle with the point being an afterthought for when map control is established.
