Vel'koz PBE changes are terrible please rethink

The current PBE changes to Vel'koz ult are a huge nerf on a champion who isnt even seeing much play/isnt overpowered.

Life Form Disintegration Ray [ R ] - Now deals up to 300/450/600 damage (down from 500/700/900) Life Form Disintegration Ray [ R ] - Scaling is now 1.5AP (up from 0.6AP)

At level 6 with a Dorans ring Vel'koz with standard runes should have 43 AP

That means his ult at current values will be doing 525 damage If these changes go through with the new values he will be doing 364 damage

Thats 161 LESS damage at level 6.

Now lets look at level 11. Assuming you've completed Athenes Vel'koz should be at about 110 AP Old value = 766 damage New value = 615 damage

Thats 151 LESS damage at level 11

Yes with Max build Vel'koz will be doing more damage than he used to but at a massive cost to both his early and mid game damage.

Again these changes are a huge nerf.

Well, experimental, so hopefully Riot will notice and either increase the ratio further, or increase the base to compensate.

These changes are likely attempts to destroy support Vel'Koz. I can guarantee you that these changes are missing that mark completely. If Riot wanted to destroy support Vel'Koz the best place to start would have been Plasma Fission (his Q). Drop the base ratios on it by 10 each level and increase it's ap ratio to at max 80%. Problem solved. The issue is that Plasma Fission is extremely similar to Lulu's Glitterlance (Q) and we all know Lulu top is seeing competitive play because of it.

110 ap at lvl 11? You afk? lol... its a slight nerf (~100 dmg) at lvl 6 and past 300 AP lvl 16 any additional AP is a buff. Its very easy to reach the break even point, and if you're maintaining a decent gpm then its an overall buff.
