What happened to reducing damage in pre-season Riot???
Doesnt seem much lower to me.
Doesnt seem much lower to me.
doesn't lower burst champion's damage give them an execute keystone reward winning lanes with more gold literally only delete celerity from the runes
don't worry, 5 armor will patch it up!
Given the AD/AP have more value than the armor/mr they actually added damage in most cases
Granted you're preventing more damage and if someone isn't drafting both adaptive runes like an ADC or something they'll do less damage to you with the proper resists. But that one scenario having less damage doesn't really compensate for the fact the adaptive force is straight up better.
The only thing really taking less damage on this patch are Pre 14 outer towers and once the plating drops they become as soft as hot butter.
What happened is they ignored everyone because they've become arrogant shitheads.
Heaven forbid they tone down damage and people start playing gasp tank and utility champions [slayer-jinx-unamused]
but muh LC$
Did you really believed Riot ? They lie. They lie with every breath. Remember when they erased Solo Q and promised to bring it back in a few weeks ? That turned into months ? That turned into "wait for the next season lmao" ?
Never. Trust. Riot.
They have done nothing to prove that they can be, trusted. Only judge them on the changes they actually bring to the game. If they were even genuine to begin with, Riot's intentions are muddled by their sheer incompetence. Let their actions speak for themselves.
And what their actions tell us is that they WANT the damage creep, they WANT the games to be shorter and shorter, and you can go fuck yourself if you want the opposite, because you're clearly not Riot's target demographic anymore and they don't care whether you stick with them or not.
I dont know where they said damage overall would be reduced.
I wouldn't mind the third tree options if they had scaling armor or mr up to like level 10. There is just way too much damage in the game as is
Im sitting here watching youtube videos and watching neeko do exactly what zoe was doing except not just with base damage but when she gets
chunking hp bars for 1/3rd of their health 4 minutes in.
You guys just gonna let that sneak past to live.
Riot Lied again. I kinda expected it.
Riots priorities = faster games for internet cafe's in china. Players priorites= fair balanced game where all classes are relevant.
Do you see the difference
They not only increased damage... but the possible gold deficit via turret plating as well...
What a joke.
I'm just tired of every single jungler being able to tower dive me no matter what and lose like 30% of their hp for it
I pretty much started copypasting my thoughts under threads like this one, because it got hard for me to phrase it differently everytime after repeating myself over and over again without actually being heard by Riot. I want to push these kinds of posts by sharing my point of view and I am glad they are increasing in numbers.
It is so fucking sad. I loved this game up until season 7 ended, with all my heart. I was completely passionate about it for five years, non-stop. This changed twelve months ago.
Starting season 8, League turned into a oneshot fiesta and a lot of champions lost their identities. Everyone deals a massive amount of damage and everyone can splitpush. Strategic teamfights turned into three seconds of button mashing. The calm aspect of the game, the part I loved most, completely vanished. Get seen/hit first, die. We became a Call of Duty MOBA.
For the first time in my life, almost every game of League felt empty, unsatisfying or frustrating. I kept telling myself: 'be patient, there has always been rough patches.' I kept telling this to myself for twelve months. I thought something similar to the old rune system would finally return, but this pre-season is a joke as well.
After agreeing that damage is too high (almost a year of complaints in), Riot releases the new Dark Harvest, just shifts the rune stat bonuses somewhere else and introduces completely inefficient defensive stats that are not worth taking instead of adding a true buff to overall defense.
I can not take another year of frustration. It is sad, but I guess I will turn my back on this game after six years and spend my free time meaningfully again. I really do not get how Riot does not see they could slow down the decline of their game massively by just reverting the rune system and champion base stats. It seems like the Chinese internet café scene is too important, so they force twenty minute oneshot fiestas down our throat.
I just want my favorite game back, but I guess that does not happen.
Every game feels like a Holocaust
they already did it but i mean bruisers and mages still need to be nerffed till the ground
I do not like how everyone is carrying at all stages in the game. So if anyone has a lead anywhere that person is carrying, and is hard to impossible for anyone else not carrying to deal with. Also you have little to do with other people's drive to win their lanes and carry. That is mostly bc players are getting worse, but that is a product of the Rift environment Riot has created. Define the champs more which would include early, mid, and late game strong champs; including champs that are strong in different ways at different times of the game.
It makes me want to not touch this game since new dark harvest being introduced into the game. Out of 10 players, at least 5 of them taking dark harvest right now.
I can't believe what I posted before never actually got posted...
TL;DR: Game keeps getting worse, I used to play it for the daily missions but I don't anymore. I Only play when a friend asks me to.
They don't give a flying fuck about the players, only the investors. That's why there are so many new skins every month or two. If they actually took their time into balancing the game with people who actually play the game, I reckon it would be way more enjoyable.
Every time I hear them say "we've listened", all I hear is "We're going to make some really weird and unnecessary changes just because we need to keep the game 'fresh' ".
noticing a lot of ranked players more then before in general pool; which makes it a bit harder for us noobs.
