What would happen if...
Vi ults an ulting Shen and Shen teleports across the map before Vi's ult connects?
Vi ults an ulting Shen and Shen teleports across the map before Vi's ult connects?
I believe Vi ult doesn't have a "Short cooldown if X" clause.
I'm not certain, but I believe if you teleport far enough away, Vi stops chasing you. She just goes "awww" and sits there kinda sad.
"awww"
Actual game quote? Rito plz!
Vi ult gets canceled and I believe doesn't go on cooldown or on a very minor one? Just like teleport and backing.

At 2:16 this video talks about this exact issue.
As has been said, nothing exiting, BUT you can do what I did with Naut ult and get a movement speed crammed Rammus and have him whiz by. If you do a custom on Dominion and only take the two bot towers (for minions and gold) it works perfectly. I managed to get from windmill (topmost) turret to left side spawn before Naut ult caught me. Fun fact: Naut ult will constantly increase it's intervals and frequency until it catches you, too many times and it will literally just snare you and catch back up. Quite fun, and I'm sure Vi's ult will act the same way, although probably a bit faster.
Shen's Ult can be interrupted by CC. Vi's Ult suppresses the target immediately on cast. Sorry to ruin your fun, but Shen's ult would be canceled :(
Actually it doesn't... The only hard CC involved with her ulti is a knockup.
ACTIVE: Vi targets an enemy champion and chases it down. She performs an uppercut upon reaching it, dealing physical damage and knocking it up for 1.25 seconds.
While charging, Vi is immune to crowd control and will knock aside enemies in her way, dealing 75% damage to them.
PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 200 / 325 / 450 (+ 140% bonus AD) PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO SECONDARY TARGETS: 150 / 243.75 / 337.5 (+105% bonus AD)
If Shen teleported a long distance before Vi could reach him, Vi's ultimate would stop.
However, I think if Shen ulted a short distance from Vi that would not exceed her animation range, she should follow him. May require in-game testing.
