I don't think Feral Flare needs to change.

I think the mentality surrounding it needs to change.

This is just my experience with it but I have noticed that when people take FF they put farming it over ganking. When they do this they end up losing the match (again, this is just my experience with it). I have had Yis, Warwicks, Udyrs and the like not once leave the jungle until they have Wriggle's turned into FF and they almost always lose and it makes FF look like a bad item because it puts the owner before the team. You losing your lane and need just one gank to get even? Sorry bud, wolves are more important. Losing mid tower? I would help... but I really need these wraiths. Want blue buff? Nope. I need it for my stacks. <-- I had an Udyr say that to a Ziggs once. Blew my mind.

When I take a FF jungle I get what I need in levels and then focus on ganking and making FF farming a second priority. If I take Warwick Jungle I almost never get to finish FF because I try to make sure I gank every single time my Ult comes off cooldown. Getting FF stacks is good but I think getting your lanes fed is much much better. Same with Yi, although... he can get his FF stacks up really fast even if he heavy ganks, I try to gank more than I farm my FF. Xin? I have yet to get my 30 for FF on him.

The worst part is the 30 kills change... because of this the farm only junglers take even longer to make an appearance and their team suffers for it. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to be 15 minutes in and your jungler has not even attempted a gank? Yes, FF has made some champions much stronger in the jungle but I for one like seeing new junglers. Remember when Vi and Elise were always picked? I mean... every single game?

The only thing, if anything, that I would change about FF is the stacking working against champions. Without the stacking damage on champions, spending the first 15-20 minutes in the jungle would be a stupid choice. Good job farming it. You spent 20 minutes farming an item just so you can clear the jungle faster. Good plan. Frankly, I am not sure if this is a constructive thread or a kind of rant thread against people who only farm the item. Anyway, this is just my two cents. Might be helpful. Might be completely inaccurate and pointless. Just my thoughts on it.
