Regarding Ezreal's Arcane Shift... or any Flash-like ability for that matter...

Let me start off by saying I have been playing Ezreal quite a bit and I have noticed something that really confuses me and I was wondering is this possible to 'fix' or is it intended? If, say, Pantheon stuns me and I Arcane Shift I will be stunned but at where the Arcane Shift ended. Shouldn't it be either or? Either I got stunned and Arcane Shift didn't go off or I got away with Arcane Shift and Pantheon didn't stun me. It gives champions like Ezreal an advantage because even though you got stunned you still got far enough away to essentially negate the stun. Over the past 24 hours I have escaped... I would say at least 10 deaths due to flashing away during a stun.

Riot, I was wondering, is this something you simply do not know how to fix or is it completely impossible to fix? Or possibly is it the intended method?

It has always been like this, Ezreal's Arcane Shift seems like a Flash, but in fact has a cast time. The cast time cannot be interrupted, so as long as you cast it before the CC hits you, it will still go off.

It works against things like Blitz pull too, hit E right before the hook hits you and you will shift away and out of the hook.

People like Tristana have the exact same thing, as long as there is a cast time/delay on the jump, it will still go if you time it right.

that was patched to be how stuns worked at the beginning of S4, so yes, it is intentional
