You would be throwing away the potential of adding Gregori Hastur the Gray Warlock, and his wife Amoline the Shadow Witch into League. Please considering how amazing it would be for a parent teaching their child League of Legends with Annie and while they play one of these two, the character interactions alone would be phenomenal. I really held out hope that either of these two would be added some day but I'm now dreading the biography update for Annie.

...Geeze I've been really scared of updates to the game lately, story or otherwise.

Would be sad to lose them as perspective champs though.

Annie's one of the oldest champions. If they wanted her parents to be added into League it would've happened long before now.

To me Ekko 's short story was a masterpiece. Someone actually managed to show his struggle without defaulting to making him an orphan.

I really like Ana from Overwatch, how she's this old, tough love, motherly character. Would love to see a mom or a dad character in League.

I didn't even know Annie's parents had names lmao, I thought they were dead.

Hopefully we do see one or both of them as champions in the future, that'd be so got damn cool.

Honestly, as weird as this sounds, I actually hope Annie when she eventually steps into the League Lore Universe, grows up. She's been a child with limitless power or some BS forever and that's getting kinda old and stepping into Syndra territory. I want to see her as a young adult, or even a fully matured woman. Even in her lore it really made no sense to send a tiny young child into some murder hell like the League of Legends.

Also with current Noxus lore coming out, I feel like they wouldn't send children into battle, even if they were skilled in their profession. Annie is one of our oldest champions, it's about time for her to grow up.

where did they say her parents are dying

also Riot does not give a fuck about the old lore pre-Freljord event and apparently they don't care about post-Freljord either (the Watchers have been returning for 5 years now, Lissandra gets no progress but Riot keeps pumping out cinematics and story for Lucian vs. Thresh (despite never concluding that arc either))

Weren't... they already dead in her old lore? Tibbers killed them when he was still a wild shadow bear before Annie 'enslaved' him and bound him to her teddy bear.
