When are we gonna talk about late game champion spikes?

Ardent? Okay. Twitch? We all know. But what about the issue with supposed "late game" champions getting their power spikes and start to steamroll the game after 1-2 items?

I thought "late game" didn't occur until around 25 minutes or when they're really fed? What ever happened to mid game champion spikes and their leads? They've been overshadowed by late game champions at a time where mid game champions like Graves, Hecarim, and Lucian should be on top.

I understand Riot wants faster games, but late game should still be late game and a risk to play. They shouldn't be a guaranteed strong champion all game.

Imho the scalings on almost every champ needs to be looked at as well as a lot of items. Too many items provide everything a champion needs so they dont need to buy much else but that one item. Im lookin at you item 3504 <_<
