I need a big hug right now

Akali is SO HOT·6/22/2019, 5:02:22 PM·1 votes·689 views

At around 3am this morning I heard a really nasty growl outside so I ran outside as fast as I could. I saw my cat, Angel, meowing under our neighbor's car and a coyote on the sidewalk. I scared the coyote away and went to help her. She was growling and hissing and didn't want to move out from under the car so I woke my brother up and we eventually got her out from under it and inside. Her back legs weren't working very well and she was only really able to crawl around. We got her in a nice resting spot and took care of her for a while and then eventually took her to the emergency room where she died. She had been paralyzed so even if we had brought her right away she would've died anyway. We think the coyote might have jumped over our fence with her and dropped her where she was able to limp away under the car to safety before it was able to get her again. She's been in our family for over 10 years. I'm gonna really miss her.

death is a reminder that time is fleeting. Take a moment to breathe... to remember those forgotten... then push forward determined to make sure you and the ones you love will be immortalized in the memories of those that remain.

best wishes.
