An in-depth analysis:
In this scenario Akali has a single drink and leaves early because as it turns out she wasn't the intended audience for the bar and she doesn't much care for the place. Meanwhile with Shen being a regular he would have actually stayed through the night and invited his friend Kennen "The Heart of the Tempest" who on top of being enthusiastic would bring energy to the place and actually encourage Shen to get drunker off of Hextech ches- I mean, Ionian liquor. Therefor, in trying to pander to sensationalist med- I mean, rogue assassins as opposed to their actual customers the bar actually made a horrible mistake. Not only because they've given credibility to claims that they mistreat ninjas but furthermore because they've capitulated to not just Ninjas, but rogue assassins - an element that is actually harmful to society despite their best interests.
I'm particularly proud of how well the characters actually fit into the situation. Man, I hope that bartender fixes their mistake soon. Shen will probably stick around for awhile because he's a loyal guy but I'm not so sure about Kennen. As for Akali? Well, I mean, she doesn't even go to the place. Maybe a rogue assassin every now and then might go to the bar but they're a rare exception.
Dude, 2:30 is after most bars close, wouldn't that mean that Shen is getting the priviledge instead?
