Faker for instance who has amazing mechanics and probably best mechanics in the world is not in challenger. Why? Are other players better than him? No, they're not but a lot of them are slight worse than him or the same skill level as him because it's 2019 and people understand this game now better than before. Faker was just the first one who had godlike mechanics, nowadays every korean challenger player has godlike mechanics.

If your skill level is let's say diamond 4 and you're stuck in plat 3 with MMR of diamond 4/Plat1, well then you're in elo hell.

Same thing is for super low elo. Let's say that your skill level is low silver and ure stuck in bronze, then you're in elo hell.

Of course if your skill level is diamond that you not gonna be stuck in bronze or silver or gold but you can still get stuck in plat.

Why is faker in Grandmaster if elo hell doesn't exist?

pro players don't play for high challenger they practice their champions challenger is a side effect of them being really better than their opponents

Idk, it says challanger.

If your mmr is higher than your division you will be getting more lp for wins/less for loses.

Only case of "elo hell" I can accept is when account is sitting in one mmr for hundreds/thousand of games, then lp gains are ruined, but I'm not sure if it fits the definition of elo hell and can be simple solved by creating new acc.

Elo hell, in its classic definition, is myth, created to excuse players own mistakes and unability or unwillingness to learn.

I think elo hell is a state of feeling stuck and you feel like you’re not climbing.

there is no difference between challenger and grandmaster though aside from the label.

elo hell exists bc my isp doesn't give me a good enough internet to climb and i am not made of money

pretty sure if faker can win worlds he can easily achieve challenger if he cared plus pro players can be diamond+

he's challenger in this account btw: https://www.op.gg/summoner/userName=hideonbush

Interesting. I've been smurfing recently Guess what as a **Support **main. From B1 to G4 in less than a week just to help a friend. The second acc I smurfed from P4 to D3 just to get my chance of getting higher also in less than a 2-3 weeks - didn't have that much of time tho. But I have to say I've never been stuck in a low elo when smurfing - not longer than expected. You just skip everything that you can till you are in your division or nearby - just play by your K/D/A, micro-macro play same as in your division even If you lose, don't get drawn by your teammates, focus on yourself and that's it. And it takes a few games. I took me about 8 games from B1 to get in S2. You just skip - so honestly, I don't believe when you are saying Nubrac couldn't get out of silver but maybe it wasn't his day.

Remember If you are good enough you are gonna climb steadily even if you meet smurfs against you - that's what smurfing is prooving- If you belong to the higher division you will get there eventually. From my perspective from Bronze to Plat it is fast for me, skip, skip skip, then it gets harder cuz you are nearly in your division but you are still climbing which is normal and positive. However, If you are stuck for a long time, well then there is something you need to reconsider.

I was there too. I was maining top mostly last season. I climbed higher than ever before in my time of playing to D2 but then I demoted and was being stuck - and it wasn't only on one acc I was being stuck in D3 on my 2 acc's - still D4 D3 D4 D3 again and again. So I realized that I have to reconsider macro play, micro play, lines, stats and explored that I am way better on a support role. It wasn't even that much of difference in stats, only slightly, but still, I was able to make a huge impact on a support role than on a top line and that was what made me escape from being stuck.

So don't blame your incompetence of climbing up on getting smurfs or elo hell or matchmaking. It's only about you. How you play. How good you are able to play and If you are willing to improve, read and study, current ranking is more then open to this. That said If you are being stuck in elo hell as you are saying then it's time for you to reconsider your playstyle. Maybe find duo, or focus more on objectives or on taking rift herald every game.

Faker himself once said that he was being stuck too and things that kept him stuck were little but there was a bunch of them. I mean every high elo player once started in low elo, had struggles and those struggles they never come to an end you still need to keep up with champions, itemization, skill shots, dodge reflexes, meta, micro-macro play, new strategies, powerplay etc.

Take a deep breath, analyze your playstyle and try it in a different way. It's only my opinion but maybe it helps a little. Wish you luck in Summoner's Rift! [slayer-jinx-catface]
