ARURF is the worst gamemode. Change my mind.

Is it just me or is someone else having LITERALLY only negative experiences playing ARURF? Like, I'm really trying to see what's fun in it but I just can't. It's been pure agony for me, especially this season.

May sound like I'm just flat out complaining, but try to see where I'm coming from. I've played 4 games of ARURF which I've lost due to them being decided in the champ select. I land my roll on a tier God-knows-what champion like Rammus or hecking Ornn, where my opponents land on the God-tier stuff like Wukong, Zed, Brand, Vel'Koz etc.

I miss Nexus Blitz more and more every day. I may never see that much entertainment in this game ever again, and it kinda makes me sad. League nowadays is a really abusive relationship for me. I want to believe it can change, but it never does. Yet still I can't stop playing it, because I miss the game I once fell in love with.

The thing with ARURF is that "Fun" is situational. Unlike ARAM where getting random champions can still turn out well because it is very team based and each champion (for the most part) plays the same way. AR URF is different as it all comes down to what champions people get. Games can be completely one side by chance. URF doesn't take skill, honestly doesn't even take much champion knowledge for who you get. It just takes a champion with low cooldowns played mediocre.

Not even going to try because I wholeheartedly agree. URF was fun for the first time. Every time after that just devolved into picking these champs or you'll lose or being cucked by RNG and forced to be Akali or against a ranged team with perma CC.

I prefer random urf personally. Perhaps I had better luck with my games.

While certain champs are strong, it's more about the players. Perhaps find a group of players you gel with.

I do also hope they bring back things like Nexus blitz, hexakill, one for all, doom bots Shame they are still pretending TFT is massively popular and having it take up a spot on client. I miss 3v3...
