Excessive threats

I recently had an opponent who literally wrote things like 'die' into all chat when we #420rekt them. I don't normally have all chat on, but a friend whom I was playing with called him out and I had to see it for myself.

Now, I report people almost exclusively if there is a reason to. In my opinion, this was a case in which it was justified to report a person. I have had "instant feedback report" messages for far less than this. We won the match pretty easily, they seemed like they were pretty tilted about losing.

I didn't get a message about a recent report leading to a punishment, once again (referring to the inting singed case you may remember me from). Either this person seriously passed the automatic punishment system or writing things such as 'die' and 'die noob' is tolerated.

The Instant Feedback System (IFS) message is inconsistent at best. It's best not to depend on that for validation that someone has been punished. The system is automated so it can also make errors and punishments can take time to be doled out.

If they just said something like "die" instead of "I hope you die in real life" or something like that I can see how it might have slipped by the system.

I just wouldn't stress it too much. Worst case scenario is the game gets added on to another future punishment they'll receive. Best case scenario is they get rightfully punished with a 14-day ban or permanent ban.
