How come every "trickster" champion is an assassin or basically an assassin?

Fizz, LeBlanc, Shaco, Wukong...

I would think a trickster would be good at confounding opponents and gradually wearing them down, but instead every trickster we have just kills you instantly.

Probably because: A trickster Tank doesn't make sense A trickster Dive Fighter is just Wukong A trickster Juggernaut really doesn't make sense A trickster Mage gets really close to Leblanc, especially rework Leblanc A trickster ADC would piss the community off, see Tristana whenever she's strong A trickster Support would start fighting for design space with Pyke and Rakan, supports who strongly resemble Assassins.

Assassin is just about the only role that can pull it off well.

Because Riot thought it was a good idea to make champions die more quickly than a player in COD Hardcore.

Better question is why do people think the trickster archetype is a good idea to use in a pvp game? The goal of fucking with your opponents means the champion has to be intentionally frustrating to play against.

I mean has riot ever said wukong was a tricker since there is not many things that make in a tricker I mean he's w leaves a clone but 99% of people know its a clone and lore wise I dont think there has been any indication of that too unless riot wants us the base how he fights on journey to the west since he does fight like a tricker in that.
