I REALLY Don’t Want Missions Giving Exp. Rewards

Levels should be an indicator of how much someone has played on his/her account (don’t even get me started on the whole “everyone starts at 30” bullshit). Missions that give as much as 4 games worth of Exp is ridiculous and I don’t want this to be a trend. I hate being forced play champs, game modes, or roles and this reword isn’t cosmetic, it lasts forever. I can’t afford Zoe, hell I’m still saving up for more rune pages so I don’t have to edit them every game I play. In a system where I have to spend tons of BE just to have the same rune pages as I did mastery pages before the changes, this seems like a slap in the face.

Rewarding experience for purchasing a champion is a piss poor practice. I agree.

This is some EA level bullshit. Riot has always been about NOT being "pay to win."

Yet here we are, offering XP rewards (which gives champion shards, etc, which unlocks more champions, which gives an advantage) for playing on pay content.

"Oh but you can buy her with BE though"

Yeah but do you really think that's riot's motive here? No.

They want people to buy the new champ, so they're offering XP rewards for her. Its a ploy to get people to spend money.

Shame on you, Rito.

Boards: “BE earning is way to slow! You have to level up in order to get it, and that takes 10+ games!”

Riot: “Here’s a mission that can award bonus XP so you get more BE faster”

Boards: “How DARE you Riot! This is wrong!”

Riot: “...”

Then where are all my retroactive levels from when I started in season 2? Pretty sure what you think it should be and what Rito thinks are two different things.

That is a reasonable opinion. (Personally, I think it is a kind of a cop-out to just give exp instead of having an artist draw up something for an icon.) However...

Missions that give as much as 4 games worth of Exp is ridiculous and I don't want this to be a trend.

It is already not the case. First Win of the Day bonuses and Exp Boosts already exist as exp is not intended to be a measure of playtime. Exp is just a number that displays progress towards content. Exp is not a real measure of playtime just how IP is not, not directly. IP=EXP→BE

I hate being forced play champs, game modes, or roles

You aren't being forced to do anything.

and this reword isn’t cosmetic, it lasts forever.

Like yeah, it does last "forever". But so what? It is just a small boost to your next IP drop. It doesn't particularly do anything, especially when it is less than two FW bonuses.

If you really are against being forced to play a certain thing, it being cosmetic should be worse in this principle because then it's a piece of content you have to play as Zoe to get before it is arbitrarily locked off.

I can't afford Zoe, hell I'm still saving up for more rune pages so I don't have to edit them every game I play. In a system where I have to spend tons of BE just to have the same rune pages as I did mastery pages before the changes, this seems like a slap in the face.

Then don't buy it. If you are insisting on buying completely unnecessary rune pages, which you are free to do, it makes no sense to spend 6300BE in order to get a 400~BE value mission. And it makes less sense to complain about it
