EDIT: Also to make it even put Hec on the bad guys and add Corki, Ahri, and Ez for the good guys to make it even. I know I'm the video Hec was on the good guys but he really shouldn't be.
AbiwonKenabi28 votesUh...just because Hecarim is a bad guy in his real lore, doesn't mean Arcade Hecarim is. Skins are alternate fantasies, and I like the idea of a heroic Hecarim. If I wanted to play bad guy Hec, I'd play literally any of his other skins (and I have Headless for that). Plus visually he matches the other "good guy" Arcade skins, not the Battle Boss look of the bad guys.

Actually it was said by Riot that Arcade Hecarim was supposed to be a boss of the game, just like the other battle bosses, but after being defeated, he joined to the party of the "good guys"... Vegetta style
TheySeeMeWardin1 votesThemeatically Hec fits with the bosses, maybe not because of his classic lore but because of his appearance. All good guys are human (or yordle/vastyian) but all the bad guys are pixelated and don't show skin.
EDIT: good guys look like people while bad guys look like robots or viruses

Now we have Brand, Ziggs and Malzahar on Veigar's battle-boss side, so all we need to even it out is a final legendary Arcade skin on Riven's side.

6FlagsFunnelCake3 votesA Rioter specifically described the lore for the Arcade universe when Arcade Ahri, Ezreal and Corki were released, mentioning that the three of them are more like Players who are new to the Arcade universe. I can't exactly find the link for the post right now, but you can read about it on the Wiki or maybe even a Rioter can come and back me up on this.
yay nibbers1 votesAh, I must've missed that. I went and checked it out myself and it's just Ahri and Ezreal that are "players" (specifically in quotation marks) and either way they're all in the game world now. There isn't really any reason not to include them as there.

FakeGravity2 votesif you think about both miss fortune and sona are holding controllers (the guns she use for the tv game on her recall, and all of sona weapon is a big arcade control) so it makes more sense for them to be players, riven looks more like an actual videogame character as well as corki, and ezreal can go either way depending on how you interpret his gauntle

GreenLore2 votesBut bosses aren't simply "evil" arcade characters. I mean both Blitzcrank and Ziggs aren't evil characters,yet they are among the boss champs.
They are designed to look like video game bosses,while the arcade skins look more like video game players/the player characters.(and heca being based on robot unicorn attack and having a guitar hero axe fits more into arcade)

While I think the idea is cool, it might be too many resources committed and not enough pay-off. I'd rather splash artist work on some like updating MF's other splash arts or something else.
