Why have a surrender?

I can see it now. The toxic boards community scrolling right past to the comments to leave their well thought responses then downvote so they can get back to their furry porn.

This didn't start off right. Before you get on me about that one, let's talk about something that irks me to no end. Why do we have a surrender option?

The point of surrendering in a game is that you want to leave the game without being punished, my punishment for leaving is tasting defeat. I will never forget the players who beat me I have all of their names engraved into a pedestal so I can hold a grudge forever.

You surrender when you feel like the game is un-winnable "EVERY GAME IS WINNABLE! ANIME IS REAL NEVER FF REEE!!!" Alright let me rephrase, you fucking weeb trash. You surrender win you feel the effort to win is greater than the effort of enjoyment. There's a simple effort to fun ratio and to simplify it. More effort = less fun. Trust me it works I have a degree in math. But the point is I don't want to put in 60 minutes of agonizing effort and try to micromanage the monkeys on my team while clearing out vision, worrying about objective control, trying to predict the enemies predictions and calculate the gold value for every action I take and do my taxes and take my kids to school. I don't want to do that! I JUST WANT TO PLAY A DAMN GAME!

I got a bit heated there.

I'm not saying ff every game at 20 minutes but god damn learn to take a loss and move on. Like oh damn they have a full build fiora farming us under towers at 22 mins and our vayne is currently 0/36 "Vayne scales soooo hard, she'll carry. watch!" Like. Maybe yeah, but I don't want to fight this %%%% for another 3 hours while vayne collects welfare checks.

Don't use that example as a base to argue how to beat fiora. I can beat fiora I know but the point is enemies have a crazy strong champ with a huge lead. I'd rather get out of the game and get into the next, now if I fight the same fiora again. I'll be here on the boards complaining about how broken she is, I am a fucking loser after all.

Now obviously don't ff every game, but if the majority of the team wants to quit. Riot 3/5 is the fucking majority you animals. Maybe, just maybe you should click accept and let them out.

The same exists for declining ff's. Oh no the enemy zed got a double. FF IT'S OVER. Like..just afk you're no help. Or god forbid those people who get shit on, spam surrenders, then when you guys DO make the comeback with zero effort from the guy crying he starts shit talking the enemies like. Oh nonono buddy I'm throwing now.

Winning isn't everything, and sure you can make the comebacks, but I'm only gonna try so hard in a game to win.

Unless it's ranked. If you ff in a ranked you better have a nexus at 0 hp already.

If the enemy team has a 30-kill advantage and your team has 0 enemy turrets destroyed, meanwhile the enemy team is about to destroy your first inhibitor, then yes, I believe at that point the game is essentially over.

I don't surrender because I don't like sitting in queue. I can take a loss, but I'm not going to just hand the enemy team a win because my allies don't want to make the effort to overcome a winnable uphill battle.

Although sometimes I have this guilty pleasure of voting "no" when the animals are crying "let me out" during an early surrender because 2/3 lanes got stomped but the actual lead isn't by any means extreme. It's even more satisfying when someone else agrees with me and we're both making a huge effort to carry.

My favorite anime is currently My Hero Academia, although Hunter x Hunter is a close second.
