And the G&B is already getting polar opposite threads that he's either OP or utterly useless. Like gee, it's just the first day of release. Learn how to play the champ/how the champ is played/how the mechanics work before complaining about him.

This is what happens when pretty much every new champ/rework is released.
The only thing I know is that I was playing Blitzcrank against him in ARAM, and the whole time I was wondering "so what's the point of Blitzcrank now?"
Snowball champion. Feeds or gets fed. But what else can we expect from an assassin support?
I know three things. One, mage / AP supports into him are feeding. Two, tank supports into him is animal cruelty (Pike- get it. Haha.) And three, no ADC is ever going to request that I play Pyke for them.
Chances are (of course) as with any release, he's overtuned to account for the 'learning curve' (cough), makes more sweet $$. Just the smart buisiness choice that Riot has made many, many times before.
I played him once in twisted treeline as a jungler.
Okay Twisted treeline jungle is like the easiest jungle to play (So I didn't have any issues clearing), but like anyone who's curious-at level 1 you can pick between your q and e and they both do roughly 100 dmg, but they have 15 second cooldowns each. Don't play him in the jungle it's awful. Also it's gonna take some time for people to learn that his ult actually you can flash/dodge it since it's a skillshot.

I say give it a week, but if this around where he is after a week or month. (that or his playrate bottoms out) we may have to see how to fix him.
Blitz is also more reliable, pyke has to charge up his Q, and blitz also has a follow hard CC that doesn't have you diving into the enemy. If blitz catches you your 90% dead, if pyke catches you, he has to land the follow up stun to make sure you die.
