Autofill should work as a last resort
A maximum of 1 person should be autofilled each team.
That's just common sense. Really don't see why riot thinks this is so hard.

Were you not here when they first introduced position select?
The matchmaking system in general is broken, it will even autofill you when there wasn't a need to
Ex. You queue to go mid and get put adc and your midlaner is an autofilled adc, which has happened to me before
