You've said it was because there was a mix-up w/ release scheduling, and yet it's been more than HALF A YEAR since we first saw mention of the infamous Karthus emote.

With the "Hurr Durr, It's coming out with Harrowing" completely null & void now, it's safe to assume this Karthus emote has been discarded & replaced by Jinx. There's no reason for Riot to hold on to an emote this long if they were saving it. Seriously, how much rescheduling would they need for an emote?
It be one thing if they at least gave Karthus players another emote to compensate. But nah, let's give Jinx 4 emotes instead.
They could at least come out & say it has been discarded. That way players can stop asking for it & move on. The silent treatment isn't helping the situation.

I'd bet good money it's because Tencent, a Chinese tech company which owns the majority of Riot shot the Karthus emote down.
I heard in China bones or skeletons are taboo or something hence why Karthus is a shadowy clothed figure in their client.
