I'm kinda okay when I'm in champ select and stuff, but then when the loading screen comes up I just feel sad and don't feel like doing anything. This is probably the first season that I'm just completely unmotivated to play ranked. Does anyone else feel like the life is just being drained from them when they play?
This is the worst season in terms of player agency I've ever played. It feels like nothing you do as an individual matter. It feels like a coin flip every single game. The game is now so team reliant that it feels like no single individual has a significant impact on their ability to change the outcome of games anymore.
I either win or lose games 50% of the time in champion select (trolls or first time champions or out of role or of meta), and 45% of the time it's based on my teammates level of play. I honestly feel like 5% of my win/losses are based off my own ability to impact the game.
Yeah, this game is just depressing now. Not just because it sucks but because people who defend this game on the boards don't even play it. I think within the last 6 months we had 1 patch that had a ton of needed nerfs, the rest are just fake nerfs or buffs to champs that are "weak" because their counters are meta.

Absolutely. Life suddenly ceased to look bleak the moment I quit. It's like having broken out of alcoholism or drug addiction.
But me and a friend of mine don't have anything else to play together, so he keeps asking me "lol?", and it may not do good to keep telling him "no" over and over, forcing me to give in and return once in a while. So, uhhh, fuck. :^)
