Why are certain assassins not in Blood Moon?
Mainly Nocturne, Yi, Nidalee, Elise, Kayn, and Wukong.

Yes why is
not in blood moon
Not an assassin
better questions : why do assassins exist in league ?
Elise actually is in blood moon. I've played with one on my team yesterday. Kayn probably isn't because he's still a recent champion. Master yi isn't because he's a free win in blood moon. Wukong is a fighter, not an assassin. And nocturne and nidalee were probably excluded because they don't have the power to keep up with the others. So master yi too strong, nocturne and nidalee too weak, wukong is not an assassin, kayn too new.
Kennen and Ahri are mages, Pantheon is a fighter, Lee Sin is a fighter, I don't know what Camille is but I'm certain she's not an assassin. Wukong is more of an assassin than any of them.
Ahri, lee sin and pantheon are all assassins. Kennen and camille might not be but they have much more similarity in playstyles to assassins than wukong does, and they can damn well be played as assassins.
Kayn: Botch up - he was meant to be included but they forgot. Will be included in future where everyone gives him blue orbs that are worth more and he can only go SA
Elise: She is in it...
Nidalee: I imagine cos her heal-poke crap was obnoxious in testing, otherwise idk, haven't seen or heard from Rito re that one
Wukong: AoE CC is too strong (inb4 kennen in Blood Moon lol)
Nocturne: Ult was considered too strong
Yi: Meditate-tank had basically no counter.
Noct w/ the reduced ult CD would be straight aids
