I really don't see any problem with Taric
I see Taric less as a gay man, and personally I'd have no issue with him being gay, but more akin to the really masculine pretty boy flamboyant prince from shrek (who was very apparent as a straight man)
I think they turned up the flamboyance of Taric but haven't necessarily implied he's gay. If anything he's bi, as he doesn't judge beauty by gender, he clearly appreciates both. I think what they wanted to get across is that with this new Taric, Beauty is Beauty.
