Riot, will you be adding a "bot" option to reporting?

While it would be nice, I don't think it would be a good idea. As far as I know if you have evidence to support someone boting in your game what you need to do is contact support. And they'll look into it. I can only see too much bad if there was an option for boting. Especially with how serious it is. One would think if someone reported you for that it be taken seriously. People think that the player whose been reported in that option be temporarily ban from their account. Plus what would happen if people false report people in that option?

All in all its just too much work for them to actually consider. Hopefully one day we will see with a way to distinguish a false report or not!

Riot does a tremendous amount of research into accounts suspected of elo boosting, reporting for botting wouldn't be much different, it would just raise a flag for Riot to look into and verify or clear away. Riot doesn't ban people lightly or without strong evidence, so I wouldn't be concerned about getting people banned by mistake. Whether with a new bot reporting category or by the advice given in Minarde's comment.
