Does anyone know how exactly does MF ult crit?

Is the crit chance calculated per wave, per bullet that hits? Or is it calculated once per ult? Meaning..... does the entire ult crit or not based on crit chance?

So, If I went ap mf and got item 3050 and I had 800ap and 50% crit with the active, how would I calculate the damage?
