Can we have the option to disable the "you're using a new champion" teambuilder feature?

I don't want to fight weaker people because I'm using a new champion/role.

Teambuilder in lower MMRs is really messed up (due to plats/diamonds "trying it out"). I'm actually quite happy with the teambuilder MMR I have achieved, and I'd like to keep playing in it, even if I'm using a new champ.

Is there a feedback thread somewhere?

I'm decently sure the "you're using a new champion" feature isn't going to place you in lower MMR, but rather going to try and place you in similar MMR with other people who are also trying out new champions.

...Or at least that's how I hoped it'd work.

Well, programmatically, it would be way easier to just do this:

MMR = MMR - 200; find match

Yes, but it'd also not make any sense if what they want is a fair match-up, because people at lower elo still won't be as skillful as a higher elo person trying out a champion (and I really hope Riot knows this). Easier doesn't mean it accomplishes what you need it to do and any programmer worth their salt would know that (and I really hope Riot's programmers are worth their salt).

It's not difficult either to find a match with other people who are trying something new, because the algorithm for detecting you're trying something new is already finished. So let's say it assigns a value to your experience with a champion to find a match - that's just another value to take into consideration in addition to MMR. Instead of matching based on one value, you match based on two.
