Because he totally shuts down nearly all his prospective enemy laners (at mid) with no real weaknesses of his own apart from very specific counterpicking. Now, if he couldn't hold that tornado to zone you out for an entire minion wave, maybe he would be a lot less of an issue. Give him the TF gold card treatment and he's golden (pun totally intended).

I'm hoping Azir comes back when Riot realizes they deep fried him, as an aside Yasuo really only has one definitive counter in lane and even then its not a 100% he's doomed counter either. Malzahar has all the tools to make a Yasuo cry, his Q is a long duration silence that isn't a projectile, his W will just chase him down and chew him up (if he doesn't use them to dash to you can stab you repeatedly anyway), your E again can't be stopped by Windwall and lets u get some CS from a long range so he can't get up in your face, R is a LITERAL F*** You button to Yasuo and Malz passive can deny him a knock up and thus ultimate.

That aside I also share a deep hatred of Yasuo, champion is just living embodiment of BS, shield makes poke super hard to get off, Windwall means you need to go a champion without any projectiles like Malz for fear he'll stop your stun, poke or god forbid your ult (he destroyed my Ez ult on more than one occasion T_T), his E is the most obnoxious spell in the game since it has a literal 0.1 second CD so long as he has fresh targets to dash to (cough Minions cough), and his ult CCs forever while hitting like a truck and giving him a free AA too. Q is also annoying since its an AoE AA that makes BT super efficient on him, had a Yasuo go 12-1 in a ranked game the other night cuz my mid lane picked TF into him, and fed. Yasuo was able to 1v3 anyone on my team just cuz of his insane mobility after he got PD, IE and BT...

i hate laning against one. Just in case he gets ahead; no one roams/ganks him. I feel I'm fucked b/c of his itemization and scaling. Yet, I'm always roaming and ganking to make sure he doesn't get ahead. Comps will build around him too; so it makes no sense ppl won't prioritize the enemies focus point.

Also, dude moves like the wind but hits like an asteroid.

The reason Yasuo mains will flood is because he is not difficult to play against, most people just bitch because they can't play him well enough to know how to beat him.

In my opinion, the best way to learn how to play against a champ is to play it. People are too stupid to realize this and it ends up resulting in people bitching about Yas when they have never played him and only the Yas mains that know how to play against him. If would just learn a bit about his kit, no one would be bitching.

If you want, I can put a very detailed explanation about how to beat him.

He is broken. He's supposed to be risky to play but his ult is incredibly forgiving. Not to mention windwall doesn't actually require aiming. You just hit the button in any direction and the projectile vacuum will suck it all up.

Not only his ult, but also his build. He only needs 2 offensive items, then he can build tanky and still be a threat, making him a very mobile bruiser.

I'm just going to note that its not only a yasuo problem assassins and fighters should not be able to build tanky and still do damage no one likes to play vs a tank ekko tank yasuo hell i hate irelia and she builds almost the same shit they need to make tank item give tank stats and not a bunch of damage to boot (Cough Triforce Cough) I 100% wouldn't mind yasuo 2 shotting me at full build with all damage items because i know he would be easy to kill with focus and well placed cc but thats just my two cents

Yasuo is indeed a very strong laner, and thats probably the main reason why. Luckily most people you will be facing wont play at a challenger level either, so i dont think he is too hard to deal with in lower elos.

True, but it's the simple fact that he has the potential to 1v5 that's threatening. A lot of people ban Yasuo because they don't want their teammates to pick him, I know I would suck balls if I were to play him, but when he falls into the hands of a OTP, a smurf, or a very dedicated Yasuo main, he can be really dangerous.

Yasuo cant 1v5 if your team plays it just decently, or unless he is 20/0 and 5 levels ahead of everyone. cc him and nuke him, its like a Yi lategame sort of. Many champs have the 1v5 potential if the enemy team majorly screws up and the other player is strong and plays it well. If you think the 1v5 potential is what makes him OP then you are mistaken, and the Vayne along with many other adc's would be considered OP aswell. He is strong, but i dont think it has much to do with 1v5 potential.

He is of course superior to lower levels of play, but he is one of the worst in terms of mechanics among his peers in his elo.
