Taliyah is probably the most well designed champion in some time

The last well designed champion was probably Bard but neva da less

Thank you ZenontheStoic for bringing a fun and balanced champion into the league

She has clear weaknesses and strengths

Some of her clear weaknesses are -An Early game very easily abused, sure if she manages to hit her abilities she can hurt a lot but she's immobile and has decent early cooldowns -She's immobile -Low Base HP -Both W and Q are pretty easy to dodge

Strengths -Her roams combine the power of Zenonthestoic and Donald trump to make the rift great again(lvl 6) -She has excellent wave clear -Strong mid and Late game -Has good disengage with W and discourages champions with dashes using E -A great team fighter, she might not be able to easily get to the back line but her low cooldowns and her ability to kite tanks late game can put a dent into them, she can also peel for her ADC or save your team/engage on the enemy team with ult

I enjoy taliyah. I can't wait for her buffs.

I don't think she will get any soon. She has a reasonable win rate (on the lower side of average, but still reasonable) and more importantly the win rate looks to be rising.

And she'll probably be the type of champion whose win rate increases a lot in experienced hands

Yeah, I think she will be mainly because of her ult.

Did you not read the mid season update. They have 2 small buffs planned for her. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/game-updates/gameplay/state-season-mid-season-followup

Those are referring to the two buffs she has already received. It was written several weeks prior to release.

Edit: Found the quote. I don't know how to link to a specific comment unfortunately, but I'll link the thread.

In response to 'Was the article written before 6.11, or does Taliyah have two more minor buffs planned? The Vel'Koz changes also seem to have happened'

Yeah, this piece was written a couple of weeks back, hit some snags with getting it localized to other languages though. We don't currently have any Taliyah buffs planned.

She's OP, if you can play her. IF they buff her dmg, she will become broken.

Aurelion is well designed its just constant DPS mages have always been known to very easily become unbalanced
