@meddler. why is it ok for Braum to be a top 2 support in LCS for 3.5 seasons?

When azir or few others get nerfed after one patch of being good in LCS? Braum is the most picked LCS champion. by a whopping 600 picks. and that number is increasing. by next season. Braum will probably be 1000 picks ahead of the next champion

if your gonna nerf some champions for being too good in lcs. then how did braum avoid the nerfs in the past 3 seasons?

this is strictly for pro play. idc about solo queue braum am not even going to discuss it

Braum has been picked more times than almost 50 champions in total. and that number keeps increasing. because Braum is not only safer than ranged supports. Braum counters poke better than healing supports. and healing supports aren't even weak. Braum is far too strong in LCS.

He's not picked because he's powerful, he's picked because he's safe. It's the same reason Tahm Kench is picked a lot. Their defensive capabilities can carry even the dumbest chimps this game has to offer to victory. There's no point in nerfing someone just because they're a safe, consistent pick. Azir was nerfed because he was too good offensively, and he became oppressive in lane. Braum isn't like that, as long as you play matches correctly. Don't let him walk up to you and auto you, and stay behind minions to avoid his Q. You play against him in the same way you play again Blitzcrank.

azir lacks counterplay when hes strong and its nearly impossible to have him in a state where he isnt too strong or too weak because his kit is a mess it wasnt just due to lcs that hes in a bad spot at the moment anyone that could play him at above average level could dominate with him with relative ease

He hasn't been top 2 support for that long wat. We had the Ardent Censor fiasco less than a year ago and there have been plenty of times where enchanters or other engage supports have been much stronger than him.
