I think we as a community need to make a decision on snowballing
So I've been doing some thinking, and came to a conclusion. Games that snowball, end faster. Games that don't snowball, scale. Riot has said they don't like super long games, averaging 45 minutes. I think we as a community need to accept that either we have super long games, and that naturally makes snowballing less cancer because an early lead doesn't spell defeat, or we need to accept it for what it is and just have a new norm of 20 minute games all the time. As an adc player I'm not raking in the dough when I say this either, I pretty much only play Ashe and unless she was over tuned she's never been the 1v5 hyper damage carry. I think that marksman are out of line, and part of that is crit and how quickly it scales once you have it. If games started at 6 items, ADCs could probably solo lane due to how strong crit is. I think that crit should be looked at, and I think that games should last longer. The issue is that in pro play long games are generally bad because then it gets to be game 5 and you've been there for like 5 hours. But as a group, do we want longer games with less snowball, or shorter games with more. Just for arguments sake, assume there is no middle ground, it's either short and snowbally or long and scaling.
