That's all I'm wondering currently, how many people are really having fun with the current state of the game. Not a rant, not a slam to any player or players. Just in general, the state of the game and how short games are. I don't want an essay or even a paragraph of why's and hows, I want a simple answer. Are you having fun playing League of Legends as it is currently?
redniwediS4 votesI had the most fun in seasons 3 and 4, and ever since it's just been a toss up whether a particular match will be fun or not. There's just not enough close games for me to have fun all the time anymore.
I don't want a stomp in either direction, I want to face people of my skill level and have the game not snowball out of control, so I can fully test my skill against theirs. I still have some fun as it stands, trying stupid stuff and having the occasional close game, but it's nothing compared to the fun I had in those long lost seasons.

OurLestrade4 votesCurrently lying low and playing Battlerite for the shorter games, waiting for the Preseason chaos to blow over. Not fond of the current squishy high-damage state we're in but stuff like this has happened a bunch of times before and will pass. The Swain rework has me optimistic for next year at least considering that the vast majority of champion releases this year haven't been to my tastes, far too high on the porn/cosplay/tumblr bait. Just look at Xayah and Zoe, they wouldn't look out of place on a 14 year old girl's OC DeviantArt page.

Aesthetically I like Xayah, the bird theme is cool because I like Vastayans (or however it's spelled) but that's just because I like a lot of the nature and animal themed champions. Her personality leaves a lot to he desired to me but at the very least she's arrogant but determined, two character traits I can at least see to make the character feel more fleshed out. Zoe, as much as I hate to admit it has a fun and silly character type that I do kind of enjoy in a meme way. She's toxic. But she's toxic in a goofy way. Aesthetically I like her skin much more.

The why in case a Rioter reads this and wants clarification. I am a support main, have been since I started playing in Season 4. I hate the current meta so much. Damage supports are the only thing that matters. I can literally just play mid laners as support right now (and I've done this even in a competitive team setting) and face roll the enemy bot lane. If I choose to play a utility or tank and they pick something like Vel'Koz it's the same for them. I shouldn't have to target ban mid champs for bot lane to have support champions in it.

In total the game lost a big fun factor. People die too fast, games are too short and the game balance is just fucked up completely.

Can't play normals for fun because the matchmaking plus how snowbally everything is makes them feel pointless, and if you go into ranked it feels the same but with consequences so its frustrating.
