You can hate dynamic queue all you want and that's well within your right but...

HateDaddy··91 votes·2,940 views

It's not why you're in a lower Elo than you feel you should be in. I get it, the premades are annoying but honestly the games now are still full of the same fuckery they have been full of for the last 6 years. People refuse to communicate, people rage, people afk, people get boosted, people carry, people get carried etc. NONE OF THAT HAS CHANGED.

If you were bronze this season and are still bronze, it's not because of dynamic queue. If you were diamond last season and you're still not challenger like you believe you should be, it's not because of dynamic queue. I totally get the solo aspect of ranked and wanting to reflect your individual skills but dynamic queue isn't the reason where you aren't where you think you belong. You are the reason for that.

So while I understand people hating dynamic queue, it's not holding anyone back from climbing. if you're good, you'll rise, if you're not, you won't. it actually is that simple. So please, I'm tired of seeing this idea float around in my games that people think they should be high diamond+ but dynamic queue holds them back when they miss tons of CS, make awful decisions, refuse to group with the team when needed because someone hurt your feelings etc.

It just gets old, I get it that you hate dynamic queue but it's not responsible for your shortcomings as a player. You are.

i'm not blaming dynamic queue for being bronze.

i was master last season, this season i played a lot of dynamic queue and stopped after plat. Because i could sens the difference when i got this rank, whenever i played against premades i would get ganked, i would be focused as a bruiser in teamfight because they need to protect their cait.

playing against premades is cancer.

i agree that it's extremely abusive in diamond + and I'd actually like to see the premades killed in diamond, nothing but solo or duo.

And why would it be fair just becuse your in that rank. Just get rid of premades altogether.

I love how higher elo players think that all low elo players are subhuman or just stupid players that don't deserve respect

Well they are and they don't (deserve respect).

But that doesn't mean they cannot present a valid argument (Ex: Dynamic Queue is pure garbage).

Or you it could be that you're slower in the head and need more time to adapt/learn/develop skills and also have lesser mechanical skills than other people who need less "playtime" for the same things?

Who knows, it could be the irl case too?

Wait what the fuck is a post score?

The fact that you feel the urge to insult someone's intelligence based on their proficiency at a video game is quite appalling, yet amusing simultaneously. I could rise up in ranks, sure, but what do I get out of it?

I don't particularly enjoy the game overall, and the only thing keeping me here is a couple friends and theorycrafting. So I'm overall expected to try my best and soend copious amounts of time to rank up in a game which bores me quickly, doesn't give me any actual profit, and furthermore is actually frustrating to play when people flame/rage/dc/be toxic.

TL;DR: oh wow your E-Peen is huge I'm sure you're super successful irl.

Wait wait,** you insulted** a very large number of players that supposedly play more (or maybe less and you're just slowpoke) by calling them "subhuman" and now I'm the bad guy here cause** I called you out and made a mere supposition alongside it**?

Poorly played "innocent card" by you, I love those... ;)

It means you wrote around 5000 posts on the boards (give or take some number cause of others upvoting you), as evident from your profile here - you can convert what that means as a time spent on the Boards - so you can apply your own remark to yourself if you still want to insist on it. :)

The irony of the whole situation is hilarious.

How is my e-peen huge? Just cause I defend the players you insulted here and called you out on your bulshit? hah

I'm not the one here that needs to openly insult players (which was totally uncalled for as seen above in the discussion) - it speaks well enough for you...

I've had several posts that had 100+ upvotes. That would explain much of it. not that it counts for much, but I've been a part of the League community since 2012, yet I've been a casual since. And guess what, there are many of us.

Playing a ton of games is not laudable, unless you feel proud of your accomplishment and you're doing it in front of people who envy being plat/diamond/etc.

I don't know if you know what irony is, because it was someone you supported that started by calling casuals garbage.

But you escalated it by calling people mentally retarded because they don't devote their lives to a game. Do you have self-esteem problems? Because that's the only way I could explain why you'd feel the need to go from 0-100 on a fucking video game board.

Btw, I don't like any mayo on my McChickens, hope you can remember that if I stop by 5 years down the line when your mom kicks you out of the basement.

He meant that bronzies are garbage skillwise and you perfectly know this ---> then you said that whoever "plays a game that much" aka is at higher elo, which on its own is a false assumption cause there are diamond players with only 100-200 games played which means there are people that have played less yet they're higher on the ladder, is "more of a subhuman than a casual".

You crossed the line.

Then when you got called out you tried to play the "innocent card" badly and you failed + you missed the fact that my bit was entirely a mere supposition and I haven't actually insulted anyone unlike someone here. ;)

If you look at it that way, earlier posters always get more upvotes/downvotes, going one way or the other, as such, the explains the initial poster. Most people just read the initial poster and continued from there.

Saying that a human being doesn't deserve respect is actually in many ways worse than saying that "x person is subhuman." Many animals receive respect, but what he's saying is that bad players and casuals don't deserve any respect. Funnily enough, there are many animals on Earth that receive more respect than the majority of human beings in this world.

Do note that of those 3 upvotes, 1 belongs to you. That leaves you at 2 upvotes. Given the other post had -6 downvotes from people other than me, we can say that overall you have -4. The other post that was downvoted was obviously downvoted by you, which still leaves me at a total net -1 overall.

In short, people actually still find you more offensive than they find me!

Anyway, I'm still running with your numbers, since you posted, someone did actually downvote your post, leaving you at +2. If you think it was me, then so be it, you can downvote my all my posts, I don't care, but don't go "I'm defending the community," when they're obviously siding against you. And I'm not even mentioning the time your post was at -11.

No one can know and I already said it (you're saying it too) that the upvote/downvote is unreliable. Let's go back to my intial stuff.

Because in diamond+, can make practically every game full of premades due to the small size, especially in masters/challenger where pro teams can queue up constantly. In silver/bronze/gold and even plat, it is actually really rare to be 5 solo vs 5 premade.

It's harder to play the game correctly when you're alone because you lack of information.

I do agree that it fucks with high elo and people in diamond+ (more high diamond+, but any diamond and somewhat us in plat) and the complains are justified.

However many of these threads about solo queue contain a lot of people in bronze/silver complaining about being held back.

Heck i saw a post about a BRONZE 4 complain about boosted teammates into his elo. So you are right, but so is OP, there are many low elo players complaining they are stuck due to premades. For a lot of people, DQ became the new elo hell excuse

oh yea and the people that are actually boosted didn't increase that much, they would have had friends boost them/play on their account to boost them i the old system anyway. I still totally get the integrity thing and find its a valid issue, just want to point that out.

mike in the box2 votes

Most people comping about Dynamic on the boards que are silver / bronzes b/c the majority of players on the boards are silver / bronze. I am fairly certain that the boast community is fairly repressive of the spread of players across elo. If only high tier players were complaining / up voting those kind of threads they would never make the front page.

so ya the community hate of DQ has nothing to do with rank. Its just the most recent whipping boy.

NotSpecialDude1 votes

I've had this song and dance on the boards before and with that experience I can clearly say that the DQ bash fest is both pointless to continue and combat.

Reason being that there is hardly any evidence that either camp can use to really prove or disprove the claims. You can't prove the ranked integrity has vanished as the accurate ranked percentage is only known to riot, but you can't disprove it for the same reasons.

So everyone is using personal experience as evidence, which is weak due to clear bias and unreliable narrator. it an't worth the time to really fight it.

Can I hate dynamic Q because all of my favorite high elo youtubers keep complaining how it is draining the fun out of the game?

sure

Linna Excel3 votes

Okay. I don't like DQ because I think that high elo players should be able to enjoy the 2 roles they queued as and not have to wait longer to get into a game than the game will last.

RoodToob4 votes

But thats not DQ, thats the new champ select. High elo players always have had issues like this, because there are little players as good as them.

RoodToob2 votes

Absolutely. If it ruins you watching other people play (still technically you enjoying the game) you can complain about it. Just be honest as to why, and not say DQ sux ruins game when i play. Say more of how the players you watch are getting screwed, which can make you not want to get better as it becomes worse when you climb higher up.

All a matter of wording, doing it right makes Riot listen to what you have to say.

Heck Soon I ll play placements on my smurf and then boost a buddy for Battle bunny riven

Just check out Dekar and you ll see how many Dboosting videos he has

If i am Diamond IV player AND lets say I make a smurf. I play my placement then I go Quadra Q with my 4 Bronze silver premades

I am LEGALY boosting them and there is nothing An oposing team can do unless they have a better booster and they ussualy do have a booster its just that I am better booster

Duoq Boosting was always a Problem. Dynamic Q boosting makes it so that I can boost multiple people at the same time / or that 1 person can be boosted with multiple people

Sounds like you are boosted with smurfs "GETTING CARRIED"

Awoof7 votes

I understood what you said before just fine and I am not a victim, thank you very much.

You call it legal boosting, I was just reminding that boosting means that someone else plays ranked on your account and that queuing with smurfs never has been illegal. Or that legally, queuing with smurfs is not considered boosting, if you want it put like that.

Like I said before, I'm just irritated over the semantic because I don't remember duoqueuing being called "boosting" regularly.

Baron of Bread2 votes

The way you claim you are going to boost is something you could have done with DuoQ. I don't think DQ enabled you to do this.

6KEMBE4ORBA5 votes

The majority of complains (surprise) are not "premades hold me back". You got that wrong and I can't see how are you claiming this when we take into account the latest threads here.

That's cause the same crowd that is against DQ understands what this is all about and sees the bigger picture.

You're the 3rd of only 3 high elo players (I'm counting) that I've encountered on Boards for 8+ months that were unable to comprehend the situation.

D**ynamicQ's problems are fundamental. **

They can certainly be mitigated and have workarounds or we can ultimately let the majority of ranked players choose by presenting the 2 queues at the same time.

Or the 2 much needed separate ranked ladders which will eventually lead to a situation with a Solo preference and Dynamic's rank being laughed at.

Overall, solutions that are ALREADY WORKING IN OTHER GAMES are and were being proposed for 8+ months but Riot isn't "listening" cause they are aware of the above and DQ's implementation was sound only "business-wise" as their sole focus is the potentional increase in profits.

They are smart - they're taking their time and seeing how this whole DQ fiasco plays out and how much they can get away with.

I can safely take the same easier way out by saying ---> "I'm diamond - DQ only below that and I'll be satisfied" that you presented here but that would be egoistical and foolish as we all know why Riot is doing what they are doing and how they have handled it so far.

Shadòw5 votes

Most of the Points aren't about DynQ and ppl in wrong Elo.

The main Arguments are just that it is simply not good to have 1 Queue and 1 rank for your Skill of playing with friends and ppl you've played before with and your Skill of playing with Randoms.

DynamicQ is combining this and giving Players 1 Rank for both and this is simply not good.

Teamranked and Solo/DuoQ was good as it was, they had different Ranks for Different Skills

My Waifu Vanilla2 votes

Because team ranked is a perfect system, right? I have yet to play an actually close game in ranked 5s for the past few years because the matchmaking is garbage. Played a game yesterday where the enemy team had almost 300 average mmr on us, but it was obviously just their coordination that made it a stomp and not the fact it was people 6 divisions higher almost. This is for almost every ranked 5s game where there is usually such a huge difference in mmr that the games are decided at matchmaking. Dynamic Q has its problems but its matchmaking is at least fair in anything below diamond.
