So, we've seen how Soraka has faired with these past couple nerfs.

Time to revert them, right? No one is picking her. Few people are winning with her.

She's op right now.

Learn to play.

I don't agree with your aggression, but I certainly DO agree with the sentiment.

Soraka is actually fairly strong. I wouldn't call her "OP," since that implies there's no counterplay (and she has plenty) but she's definitely viable. She has plenty of damage and sustain (I'd go so far as to take blue pots instead of red at spawn) and can stop ganks with a well-placed Equinox. Her one problem is her lack of an escape-- if she gets flanked, she's a walking corpse. However, this was always a problem for her. It's the weakness necessary to balance out her strengths.

What the Farmer may be seeing is that she isn't any good on her own. She's worthless at low MMR because you can't trust your ADC. A champion that relies entirely on aiding their allies (rather than harming their enemies) will almost always have this issue; that's why mage supports are so popular. They can have an impact even if their lane partner is playing badly.

Janna and Sona are kind of in the same place. They rely on their teammates, which renders them weak when their allies are unskilled. However, at mid-high MMR they have a huge amount of potential.

No, that's isn't what I'm seeing at all. I'm seeing Soraka come to lane, go through all of her health in a minute, and either go back or die. Meanwhile I'm stuck camping tower getting no XP or cs. You can argue this is a low elo, low skill thing- the thing is, the exact opposite was happening before her nerfs. We actually managed to win lanes. With the nerfs, the goal is to just not have to leave lane, let alone win.

I'd guess that you're subconsciously taking the heals for granted, and letting yourself suffer more harass than you would otherwise. Alternately, your lane partners aren't harassing enough. She needs to land a few starcalls to keep her health up, but that's about it. Pull that off and you're in good shape. Just don't stand in the "fire." Morg, for example, will crush a Soraka with an unprepared ADC, because of all the easy/free harass she gets.

Sounds to me like you've encountered some really bad Sorakas. That, or you're face tanking so much harass they have to heal you every two seconds.

I don't call her heal range being increased a "nerf", and I damn well don't want that reverted. She isn't underpowered either; I'd say she's in a pretty good spot at the moment.

Perhaps no one is playing her because she's not fun to play.

She was fun to play before the nerfs. :(

I haven't found her fun to play since the rework. And actually outside of this board I don't know anyone that has.

People used to talk about her on the boards a lot, actually. I think her new kit is a huge improvement on what it was. Before they nerfed her out of existence and Sona replaced her.
