item 3140 ? Also cleanse would literally make it worth to grab. Sacrificing ignite/barrier etc for a defensive spell like cleanse would be nice

Cleanse is a good counter spell. I have seen people complain about exhaust many times which has a 210 second cd. If you take cleanse you don't have to worry about exhaust. It removes ignite which also has a 210 second cd. It allows a carry to remove wither or a squishy to casually walk out of Nunu's absolute zero. People are so focused on getting kills and not on staying alive that they think it is worthless. Also, it isn't always just about the removal, if a fighter has elixer of iron, swiftness, and merc treads and uses cleanse, they will have 86% tenacity. If you don't have knock ups you aren't going to stop them from doing anything. You could take that one step further and have all of that on Irelia. She would have 91% tenacity which is basically Olaf's ult.
