Just lost a game and my teammate has the nerve to say, "Blah, I won my lane, more blah." [slayer-jinx-unamused]

News flash I was top, I won my lane. Middle lane won their lane. Bottom lane won their lane. Our jungler even had full jungle control. All 4 buffs for our team, as well as 2 dragons.

So how did we lose...

Because 5 individuals can't beat a team!

Somewhere along the lines of the 17 minute mark, the enemy team decided, "We're getting destroyed, let's group up!" Funny thing is, we also had the better team fighting composition. Unfortunately, we never could group, so the 5 of us were never alive at the same time. We couldn't agree on objectives or form a strategy.

So here we are, 5 players, each individually stronger than the enemy team, with a better team composition, but loses game because, "Blah, I won my lane, more blah."

Well tbh if you just stuck to laning and put the jungler top or mid you woulda just rolled over them, taking 2 towers every time they tried doing something on the other parts of the map.

^ you gotta commit to full splitting or full grouping up if you're gonna have very poor team communication, you have 3 people trying to group but 2 others splitting with no communication, you're gonna lose more than you'll take more often than not.

3 people should have been able to hold mid against a weaker team while you pushed the outer lanes to the inhibs. Keep the paths to the outer lanes warded and push hard mid if they try to rotate.

Enemy team was MissFortune Jinx Katarina MasterYi Garen . The losing lanes got picked up by the 8/0 Master Yi that finished 18/6/11. Master Yi takes towers extremely fast, so we had no choice but to group as 5, it never happened though and we lost.

How were you winning if enemy team had 8/0 Master Yi.

Also, even though wujuman takes turrets fast, he lacks the ranged waveclear to siege properly (and from their team only Jinx and to a small extent MF could do that actually).

On another note... I looked up on your profile and found that game. You were 1k ahead in 15th minute of the game (which at the time was 4% lead. Yes, 4%.). That's it. You weren't ahead at all. Also, you took no drakes (despite what you said), nor Haroooold.

Here's the thing:

3 people group mid. Waiting for at least one more guy to show so they can push.
One guy is splitting because he thinks he's gonna split while the others push as a team.
One guy is splitting because he thinks he's go-

And THAT is the fucking problem with morons in this game. You can't expect 3 team mates to fight the ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM so you can stroke your e-peen and split push to make yourself feel like you're doing more than you actually are. You aren't gonna win the game doing a 1-3-1 strat for 20+ minutes. Your allies in the mid lane won't be able to do shit.

Provided you can trust all 3 of those people to not engage the enemy team. No, not even if you get a good catch.

What realistically happens is that 1 person dives the 5 man, then they knock down the towers, while the two people trying to 'push the outer waves' scratch their asses and meander like monkeys instead of accomplishing anything relevant.

Though in higher MMRs, that problem lessens, but so does the other team's inability to do anything but blindly shove mid.

All I care about is lane, really. I don't care if I lose because bot is 3-13 and top is 1-8 by the 9 min mark.

Laning phase is a small part of the game, If you only care about winning lane, then perhaps we can use a couple examples.

If your playing pantheon, and you manage to gain a 10 cs lead in 6 minutes, and have no kills. Your loosing the lane, even if you get fb on turret.

If your playing against a viktor, and he is close to you in cs, prior to his first hexcore upgrade. Your loosing to that viktor. Every champion has a window of time were they excell and are weak. If you focus on just winning lane your missing the crucial periods.

Getting kills is not winning a game, A kill on an enemy is called resource denial, because killing them has stopped their ability for the time to gain Gold and Experience. Therefore, you begin to have a small lead on that person. In an immediate time frame, not for the rest of the game. You need to use the denial of resources and pressure to take something of value in or out of your lane, I feel that its important to explain this process, because if your so lane centered, your missing crucial periods to win the game. Then you sit in all chat, upset because your blaming one person for feeding because you were "winning the lane", but realistically you didn't win the game, because you did nothing with the resource and pressure advantaged gained. Thus you want to blame someone for feeding, but that "feeder", is getting camped, dove and out pushed. Your killing your laner and backing for an item, when you could force the jungler to stop pushing that top turret and head towards you. Making it a denial of time and resources on them.

i think just getting a fb turret at 6min itself is a huuuuge advantage

I really only care about winning lane(I'll still roam though) and being fed because if my team is semi-decent, I'll be able to somewhat carry teamfights. Somewhat because I'm only Silver.
