..or go to champion.gg;op.gg, op.gg lists her as being the best champion for top AND mid ..

her banrate is the 2nd highest, it's clear no one likes playing vs this shit can u pls jus nerf it already its rly obvious shes hideously overpowered? (same with tali jungle xd)

Related question: How are you suppose to play around her as an immobile champion?

I was playing Yorick and the other team had an Irelia Mid. I felt like I was a Training Dummy for her every time we encountered each other. Can't out run her, can't really CC her, couldn't out damage her (maybe a pure damage build would work, but that seems risky, and even then a well timed shield on her part can block a lot), slim chance of avoiding her stun, can't escape her ult cage without flash... How was I suppose to interact with this champ?

I'm not complaining about our team's loss as a whole. I felt like I could interact with the other champions on their team just fine, even if I would lose to them or get caught out. But Irelia just felt like a champ that didn't belong in the game.

My best success against her has been auto attack fighters in the top lane. Aatrox, Trundle etc, get a Tiamat to help wave clear then your healing will save you in fights. What I see a lot of people do is after she ults, they try and run, this makes it so you go through her ult, can't auto and take extra damage. Don't do that. Just start hitting her, a lot.

Is the same thing as, "How do you hit a moving target?"

And second, winrate doesn't strictly involve the champions sole capability to win, it's also composed of how well they do in the current environment. Marksmen are weak so fighters and mages are taking their place. Therefore her ultimate is very successful as fighters/melee have a hard time fighting in or leaving her disarm field. And because they're melee their only choice is to fight since they can't kite her effectively like marksmen could.
