In the past seasons, you could actually climb ranked if you played your role well

Now, you have less agency if you main top/ mid. Pretty frustrating to be honest, when botlane and jungle decide most of the outcome. You could be a great mid laner but you can't climb if you botlane got autofilled. You can roam bot as much as you want, but if they aren't decent enough to follow up, well sucks for you. At the end of the day, if you play a mage you are just a second support for the ADC.

I'm honestly so disappointed in Riot right now. Let me tell you, I can play almost all roles except jungle and in the past I have climbed ranked playing four different roles so I KNOW that the game was AT LEAST balanced back then.
