I just feel that the quality could be a little higher.
I don't know why people hate this skin, I keep hearing people say that they're not feeling the theme.
As a huge fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Code Geass, Gundam, Cowboy Bebop this skin is like a godsend. But as an artist myself, I feel that the color scheme could be slightly improved.

It's pretty crappy that an ultimate skin has less interaction than recent 1820's. Only reason is going as an "ultimate skin" is because it has 4 build in chromas on it which is kind of BS because people aren't interested in lolipop flavors that's what actual "chromas " are for. We want a good model with animations even if it's at a higher price. If they wanna do chromas they can but don't force the chromas on it and give it the "ultimate" pass on it. That's just BS and a huge waste of a luxurious skin line. AGAIN WE DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE SMALL PRICE DISCOUNT, make it more expensive but fix it. FIX THAT SHIT. Or.... OR! Make another ultimate skin this year that's proper. This is ruined at this rate.

GGMF has 4 different models that are more complex than her regular model(due to exo being essentially 2 more arms that can be seperated from her main body) and despite the common belief,her other 3 models aren't just chromas,as each model has unique skill effects(that are most of the time not just mere recolors),voice lines,ult animations and gun animations.
And while her Q animation seems to be the same(which honestly was likely done due to clarity issues,I mean her Q looks almost like a regular shot,so her shooting animaton is the most important part to identify the skill),the other animations are new(even if her idle and one of her running animations look very similar to the regular ones). In general according to the model viewer in lolking,she actually has almost twice as many animations as the regular MF.
Also I'm not sure what you mean with that she has less interactions than a recent legendary,the video for her special interactions is 15 minutes long,the one for project vayne is only 12 minutes long....

None of the suits give different voiceovers either, and as said, the animations being the same don't help. The suits themselves don't look very different from each other, either. the ends of her guns change, and there might be some other minor changes, but other than that, that's about it. And even that isn't a unique concept, as DJ Sona can change forms on the fly whenever she wants, not just at base, and each form brings different particles, animations, new "voiceovers" and most notably the background music, which ehr team can tune into.
One thing I can think of they could have added was to make the exo the announcer for the GGMF player. Perhaps allow allies to listen to it if they want too, ala DJ Sona.

I agree that they could have done something unique with this skin,but they didn't and thats why the price was lowered. Personally I like the idea someone else posted,where they suggested that the skin could offer you the ability to mix the different skins,so that you could for example equip royal arms for your left gun,starswarm for your right gun and zero hour for your main body.

You can even look it up, many of the recent 1820 had things changed even the walking animations are different. This one barely. It's like they stopped working on the skin at a certain point and are now just going to release it which is a total shame. But you right, i don't like it it doesn't mean others wouldn't however MF players that don't like it are a "STFU" point in the community were we stand no right to ask for a legendary skin in the quality of

They can fix this by making the Q particle a small robotic looking round pellet similar in size/shape to the original Q, and adding a bit more flare/pizzaz to the actual shooting animation.
Big problem for many people is that although they might actually be different animations, they dont really look like it. According to the concept each gun is supposed to be unique/distinct, so you would expect individual animations for each gun model to emphasize this, and you only get a really distinct separate shooting animation in the ultimate.
Why is is that Elementalist Lux gets completely different idle animation and there's no clarity issues there?? If they wanted to they could keep the strut/bounce and still add more flavor to the animation. And at the very least have separate recall animations for each gun suit.

But it still is an Ultimate skin in terms of the quality and still allows you to swap forms on the fountain. Different animations, particles, SFX and of course, EXO as another VO added into the mix. Udyr, Sona, Ezreal and Lux don't have the additional VO at all.
It's not an Ultimate skin that Riot rushed out the door to get it done. They wouldn't release an Ultimate skin if they felt like they had an unfinished product. This is especially true when we're talking about a single piece of content that's the most expensive thing Riot has in their store and it only comes out once a year per champion. And especially after they also returned the first iteration of SKT skins for a few more months to give them more pezzaz and shine for SKT, in terms of higher quality.

I don't care about what reddit says. In the same way i don't care about what a vocal minority of boards say when they have an issue with something because (and get this) - there's always something to complain about, whether it's a valid complaint or not.
I have my own opinion on this and i like the skin. I only agree that it's nothing new and groundbreaking like the other Ultimates, she's the samey-same as Lux and Sona. I'll say this again - Riot did already pull some skins to make them better and "rework them" so i don't really see your point in Riot intentionally rushing something like a freaking Ultimate skin out the door to "earn" money. If they did it for lower priced content, why the hell would you think this works in their favor with a more expensive cosmetic?
They pulled back on the old Chromas and made them better. They pulled back the previous seasons' SKT skins to give them more time to iterate. Then they made the more recent SKT skins 1350 (as opposed to 750 and 975 RP). Riot's proven that they care about what kind of content they release and they want it to be the best for your money. Of course you're not going to like every piece of cosmetic it comes out.
Can GGMF be a better Ultimate skin? Yes. Is it a failure for this year's Ultimate skin? Hell no. I don't like Ezreal and Udyr as champions but their Ultimate skins look nice. I'd still never buy them and if i ever got a shard, i'd disenchant it immediately. That's exactly how much i want these two in my collection.

I never complained at the skt skins or sweet rakan skin just because I simple didn't care.
And that Is mostly the case with people that aren't on reddit. They either don't want to write or don't have time to write.
But now that they released an underwhelming skin for my favourite champion, I felt like I had to say something about it.
So in the end, people who care write feedbacks, and the words from those people matter the most.

Jeddy0177 votesThe only change I care to see is some hairstyle changes between each form. If Elem. Lux & SG Udyr can have hairstyle changes, why can't GGMF? Just a hair color change feels boring & lazy. DJ Sona's lack of hairstyle changes is cool with me because they changed the helmet with each form instead. And some could say the twintails are an iconic part of Sona's design that needed to be kept. Plus DJS is a REAL Ultimate that brings something new to the table, so they make up for it.
Meanwhile GGMF is basically an ultimate wannabe. So it doesn't bring anything new to the table that makes up for it's lack of hairstyle change. At least give her some type of big hat or helmet to increase the distinction. Having a big hat is kind of MF's thing. It will add some much needed flavor to the hairstyles of each forms.
Please note I'm only talking about her hair. This is also a minor nitpick. If the hair doesn't change, I'll live with it.
