How come Darius can't proc Dark Harvest with his bleed?

I'm going to assume twitch's passive doesn't proc it either but I haven't tested yet.

Is this intended or a bug?

Iirc, champion's passives don't generally count as their abilities which is why you get crap like the infernal drake killing you with statik shiv and ashe killing you with 149 true damage when there is no ashe in the game, basically spaghetti code. Like I'm pretty sure lucian passive generally registers as a taric because the ability is copy-pasted

Brand passive counts as an ability which is why it can proc liandries and rylais.

It counts as SPELL DAMAGE which is not the same thing. Darius' bleed is coded to trigger off of abilities and his attacks, which means it's not coded as an ability, otherwise it would stack itself. Furthermore, Dark Harvest doesn't proc on additional effects like Scorch and Liandry's, because they're coded to trigger off of abilities too, so that could be while Darius' bleed can't trigger it.

Man. Reminds me of my favorite bug rito ever pulled out of their ass.

They had a solid day where morgana’s bind didn’t root anymore but ezreal’s q did. It was actually hilarious.

I remember there was a big on one when they were nerfing leblanc's chain. Someone forgot a period and added a 0 and suddenly lb chain rooted for like 6 minutes

I did some testing with this a while back and found out that DoTs that CAN be applied via Auto Attacks do not count as "spells" or "attacks".

Notice I said "CAN" cause Darius passive can be applied via spells AND auto attacks. So IF it can be applied via an AA then it falls under this category of not counting as a spell or attack, regardless if it can also be applied by a spell.

This us why Darius or twitch passives and teemos E do not apply spell affects, like liand/rylias, and why Brands passive does.

More like because Brand's passive is bullshit favoritism.

It doesn't stack and allow for him to chain executes, soooooo they're kind of very different.

Do you...even know how his passive works?

It stacks up to 3 times and on the third stack sets off am AoE which in and of itself can then set off more stacks.

No its cause brands passive is coded as a spell, like many other damaging passives that trigger off of abilities.

Velkoz Zyra

While some other damaging passives are coded as Auto attacks.
