Rip Nubrac

Pretty sad that high elo players scold nubrac simply because he's playing a different strategy to win. Everyone's reasoning is them caring too much about MMR instead of how good you are as a player (mmr doesn't say that). Can't have fun anymore, have to play how you're told.

Banning him for that play style is just encouraging him and others to smurf if they want to do "different" things. The thing that likely losses him the most games is when people don't even try and get tilted. Mental illness and mental well being is a huge thing now a days so it probably triggers peoples inner illness and they just end up afking and flaming.

I can just relate a lot to it because I get flammed a lot for how I play jungle or when I play an "off meta" jungler that is seen as troll in the past seasons.

Being told what to do when you aren't even doing anything wrong is probably one of the worst feelings ever of restriction and loss of self expression.

It's also very telling when a players report to player support only worked when it got bumped in urgency and due to him being a streamer, got sided on more because "we can't displease our league partners, especially him!". If you read what that rioter said to NB3, just constantly "apologies, sorry" scary stuff.

Except he is doing something wrong, he's not communicating with his team at all.

League is a team game and one of the biggest facets of a team game is communication. If you're going to do such an odd, game-shifting strategy you need to inform your team and let them adjust/play accordingly. Staying dead silent and leaving them out to dry is unhelpful, kind of toxic, and isn't a great way to consistently win games.

That being said, I do think his punishment was too harsh. Nubrac should have received a manual 2-5 day ban and Riot should have carefully explained why he was punished and how he can prevent it.

Nature vs nurture. I side with nurture, knowing that if a higher up talks to someone, they will often listen and learn. Too bad people do not believe this and it's all about the capitalist gains.

And if this "problem" is only in high elo, shouldn't they know what he's going to do at this point and pick accordingly? Play some solo adc such as sivir/ez or a solo laner.

Ranked is a serious environment where winning should usually be put above all else. If he's played 400 games and won 48% of them, it's barely viable (if you even consider it viable in the first place) and does nothing but tilt his team.

And if this "problem" is only in high elo, shouldn't they know what he's going to do at this point and pick accordingly? Play some solo adc such as sivir/ez or a solo laner.

1 - Not all high ELO players know each other, just because he's (currently) in the top 1,000 doesn't mean everyone is aware of what he's doing and if they do, it definitely doesn't mean they're comfortable with it

2 - Why should someone have to pick a champion they're not comfortable with because Nubrac wants to do his strategy? At what point is he a detriment to his team?

3 - I don't think you fully understand the effects of Nubrac's strategy. Yes, I could go a solo laner like Ezreal, but any competent team will absolutely massacre me. If somehow I manage to survive, they'll just freeze the wave as much as possible, zone me out of CS, shove my tower, get free objectives, and/or roam to get map dominance.

ADC falls behind, we lose teamfights due to a lack of damage, enemy team snowballs off of kills or CS, my experience is ruined, game over.

Oh I would pay big money to be able to see your thoughts when you enter the lobby with Teemo mid supp. I bet it would be something like "Oh no" or "You are what?"

Are you really ok with having Teemo support mid in your team? lol

yep. because unlike others I know MMR doesn't matter and will play a game as long as they aren't inting and I can see they are trying to win. IF they are in a specific mmr, I know what types of decision making to look out for to determine whether or not they are trolling.

if your motives are so controlled by MMR, which the majority of the community is controlled by, I think that really takes away from good judgement calls.
