Ranked issues.
I see so many posts about how skewed the ranked system matches players. I totally agree, and I think part of the reason I agree is because' I see an incredibly large difference between my regular ranked matches when climbing to my promo matches. Whether I drop in LP or rise in LP, my teammates normally sit around higher levels with ranks fairly close to mine. It's only in Promos that I normally see Ranked games with fairly low level players which are Unranked or lower in ranked from the rest of everyone else in the game. (my 1st promo game of my Gold 3 promos, I had an unranked player at level 34 while the enemy had a Bronze 3 player at lvl 46.) It's like the system "tries" to compensate for you having an unranked ally, but can't fairly do it as the ally doesn't have a true rank status.
There are 2 things that seem to be occurring that could be adjusted: Placements for first time ranked players tend to somehow align into Promo games when they simply shouldn't. How is it a test of skill to essentially play with or face someone who just isn't ranked at all? You have no clue if this person belongs in a higher or lower rank. Also, level actually reflects skill (in my opinion) now. If you're level 30 in these days, you essentially just started an account (Or are smurfing), and a lvl 30 player simply doesn't have nearly as much practice as someone say lvl 100-200. Maybe the restrictions on summoner level should be raised.... instead of lvl 30, a player must reach lvl 100? That's not that hard right? A dedicated player to League can easily make it there, but still push them to practice A LOT more than what lvl 30 player deals with.
