No it wasn't, mages have too much penetration right now and nobody has much resist they could easily deal true damage to him with item 3020 item 3151 item 3135

yasuo builds early hextrinker with nullifying orb and is save all laning phase meanwhile at the point he gets hextrinker mages are busy getting lost chapter for their mana and won't get haunting guise before minute 12 at best.

It's hilarious how people talk like he's the best champ in the game. Back when Yas was super strong, a couple years ago, I hit diamond two playing almost exclusively yas. Point being I'm not a bad yas. I haven't picked him, competitively, in so long. I play him in norms from time to time. He's still hella fun. He's just a shit tier champ nowadays. Lol.

and zoe has a sub 50% winrate too, doesn't change the fact that they're unfun to play against, especially as a mage v yasuo. it was a stupid buff.

The goal of a rework isn't to make a champion better, it's to make the game better.

Yasuo being less popular would make the game, as a whole, better.

I don't mind Yasuo.

What I can't stand are all of the players who main him.

I rarely if ever see one who isn't a horribly toxic person in game. And, as a Wu main, I hate the fact that they all think I'm their bitch toy to make their ult happen even if they are a million miles away from me and engage enemies solo.

Then, suddenly it's, "Where the fuck were you, Wu!"

If I could have one change about him, it would be his ultimate. The fact that it procs on knock ups, his or allies, is just unbelievably bad game design. I'm just tired of rolling the die on whether I get a yas with a decent and grateful attitude or (as is most of my miserable cases) a toxic feeder.

Iirc, at one point in time Yasuo had the highest average deaths per games won. His average play pattern was at the time and still is to an extent, you go one for one in lane constantly until you get enough gold that you stop dying in stupid stat check fights. And I say stat check because the players that do that don't do anything but auto Q auto Q R auto Q in melee range regardless of minions. They literally just auto you and spam point blank can't miss Q because he just scales off crit so fast that you literally can't get enough gold going 1 for 1 to match him.
