If someone asks me about dragon's ghost one more time

Heckin Support··118 votes·4,675 views

Or "what are these spire things" when skarner is in a game. I'm just gonna flip. Seriously. Read the damn patch notes please, And it's even more ignorant when they say "but I hate reading" At least watch the tldr blakinola videos.

Like those people who tried to play Runeglaive Ez after the changes. And the people who ask why Darius's axe is so slow.

FistOfSharkiesha4 votes

I swear the runeglaive thing just drove me insane. They were doing it 2-3 patches AFTER it had been changed. Like, I get being a day or two late and not reading patches immediately but I looked at some of the oblivious peoples' match histories and they had been playing several matches with a useless runeglaive and never noticed.

It's even worse when somebody starts raging like it's a bug that Riot messed up with. Because when there's a new patch being installed, the number one thing you have to do is ignore the panel of the client that says "patch notes".

Did you know that you can ghost the ghost of dragon?

If you have two mordes and one has dragon then other can ult the dragon kill it and gets their own dragon ghost.

Ergono2 votes

Yeah you can also ult Morde's ghost and steal his ghost so that your ghost is the ghost of your teammate. I will do this when Morde takes a ghost of the strongest champ as taking their teams ghost is pointless. GHOST MECHANICS

What if there are 10 Mordekaisers?

Someone needs to set this up, have two Mords re-clone Dragon back and forth, and then have Dragon fight Dragon, let the other Mord get the second ghost, and have a massive dragon fight.

I NEED THIS NOW.

I could do it if I had a sandbox mode

It seems silly to us.

We go on the internet, we browse the forums, we check S@20 daily.

Some people do nothing but log in, hit play.

Riot thought about those people. They added a link to the patch notes on the Client itself for like the first week.

They know that patchnotes are out there, they're just not interested.

If you put LCS in the client, I still wouldn't watch it.

I don't watch the LCS either to be honest. But watching LCS and looking up actual changes to the game are two very different things.

"Wtf? Why is Jinx's face above me?"

-Garen in my game yesterday

The Loveless10 votes

you should've told him, "It means Garen can't stop thinking about Jinx. Maybe you should ask her out for a date?"

NewFoundAbility3 votes

''Because maybe Jinx read the patch notes.''

I had a runeglaive ezreal in a game yesterday.

He was confused as to why he wasn't doing well on such an "OP build"

"but I hate reading"

What. That statement doesn't even make sense to me; do you hate it every time you text somebody or respond to someone in chat? Seriously; the patch notes aren't long, and they are actually really entertaining because of all the work Riot (I forgot which one does the patch notes) puts into it.

And as the OP said, there are numerous videos that are very shortened explaining the changes, and just as many videos going into great detail.

Kids these days, man.

if they can't read league patch notes i can't imagine them reading dota 2 patch notes

MasterVidallis9 votes

100% this. If you're going to spend hours of your time playing league, why the fuck do you not take 5 min to read patch notes every two weeks?

Lady Hammerlock1 votes

I'm one of the few people or many that read the match notes its always interesting to see what get changed then i rant about them with a few friends

Crowe Stalker8 votes

I find it incredible there are people out there that play this game and don't actually keep track of changes happening within the game when patches release. It just seems so... Stupid. There's a difference between playing Casually and just being an idiot.

Soraka Guise i cant give mana, this geam is buged. rito plz

Side note: I don't type like this, by the way.

Comprehension, logical thinking and intellect are the flaws of societal elitists anyway.

Reading only makes people brainwashed, schools only make people dumber and submitted to social programs.

Hate reading? That's good! Believe what you will like a free spirit! Go out and experience life for yourself instead of sitting there reading about it while trying to convince yourself that you've mastered the secrets of the world. Don't be a bookworm who is pretending to be a dragon.

And...

Wait, where were we again?

NewFoundAbility2 votes

instead of sitting there reading about it while trying to convince yourself that you've mastered the secrets of the world.

My dyslexia kicked in at the wrong time:

instead of sitting there reading about it while trying to convince yourself that you've masturbated the secrets of the world.

Lost R7 votes

I'm getting to that point, too. There are still people out there who have been playing consistently for the past two years and STILL don't know what certain champions are able to do, like Braum.

Ergono5 votes

League my have one of the largest player bases, but that in no way says they have any shred of intelligence. League the NASCAR of video games.

Gorgannan1 votes

Including public urination and alcoholism?

Ergono1 votes

I would actually hate to see what some of these players homes or whatever you want to call it look like when they are playing. It could be way worse.

Gorgannan1 votes

lol gross.

Sorgklaan5 votes

You should have to spend like, 2 minutes with the patch notes open after a major update before it lets you log in.

Crowe Stalker2 votes

The Client should be reworked so during patching, the left half of the screen is the patch notes, and you can expand it to full screen, and the right half os the stuff they put in like spotlights and announcements.

Leetri1 votes

They still wouldn't read it, they'd just tab out and browse 9gag or something while waiting for the patch to be done.

Crowe Stalker1 votes

unfortunately you have a point :/

Lady Hammerlock2 votes

id rather read patch notes sometimes i read it multiple times weird right???

ZephyrDrake5 votes

ironically the only ones who will see this thread are the ones who already look at the patch notes and whatnot. Most people don't bother doing anything but just log into the game and play games

I don't want to be on my high horse, but I recently I have been making a new player read the patch notes, since he didn't care/know much of what the changes meant. So I'd tell him what the changes mean and why they were probably made.

That along side, nobody talked to me about patch notes when I played for the first few months or so; I always want to give things to someone where I was never given. summoner 13

My favorite is the people on your team who rage if you don't ban Sejuani. Or the Master Yi on your team who builds Warrior. Or people who ban Katarina because "nobody plays Skarner."

GankLord3 votes

People need to appropriate bans based on what is currently to strong to deal with. Atm Sejuani isn't worth a ban imo because of Cinderhulk nerfs and Devourer. That is what's hot right now and that's what the bans focus should be at least a low teir play Devourer is shredding tanks as if they were made of paper mache . People get mad if I ban Kayle, Shyvana and yi and when I ask them if they've read the patch notes they answer no and I slowly burn inside.

Just Blame Jenny3 votes

Had a game yesterday where my entire team flamed our adc for picking mordekaiser. Jungler flat out refused to gank for him.

I have dyslexia, but I read the patch notes.

It gets me hyped for what is going to be shit storm of things to learn, hate, learn again, love, ask what you're doing with your life, repeat.

What's really annoying about the 'summoners' who don't read patch notes, is that they jump right into a game expecting to just figure it out. You don't do that under any circumstance; you get a Soraka giving you ''mana'' questioning why it's a circle on the floor, and why they can't spam (Q)...

Honestly, I play Bots after each Day-One patch note updates, because the players who do this are as irritating. I feel tired just thinking about it.

SlaktarTasken2 votes

I so agree and am so fed up with people who don't give a rats-*ss about reading patch notes then whine as they get stomped and don't have any clue, especially in ranked.
