E can be easily interupted dodged if you're a ranged mage W is now completely useless against ranged champions since you can't use flash with w R is completely useless against ranged champions again, they will just walk out of it easily.

This vgu was terrible, awful, horrible Re-rework him again with Ryze and make him a proper antimage this time

Except the whole idea is he closes the gap with mages with Justice Punch, taunts them, and they hit him like a wet noodle with their basic attacks while he dunks them up to their necks into the ground with Colossal Smash. Yeah, he can build armor and be your generic tanky bruiser, but his damage reduction and Colossal Smash scale with Magic Resistance. There are a lot of mages who fold like Superman on laundry day the instant they get into melee. Those are the people he's meant to squish.

And there's nothing like taking a full Vel'Koz barrage to the face and have it not even scratch the paint.

He was close to that then patch 7.21 happened and for some fucking reason riot started balancing him around ap.

You can easily make his kit anti magic which would be nice.
